The New Atlas (previously Land Destroyer) on Odysee

Despite campaigning to end US regime change wars abroad, President Trump has now waged war against both Yemen and Iran, continued the US proxy war in Ukraine against Russia, and is now mobilizing the US military to threaten (again) Venezuela with regime change in Latin America.

The pretext is allegations of "narco-terrorism" and claims Venezuela is flooding US borders with illicit narcotics. However, the same Trump administration creating this pretext has also claimed that not only has the US border been "secured," illegal narc-oterrorist drug gangs operating inside the US have been rounded up.

Both can't be true - and in fact, neither is.

The US government admittedly overthrew the government of Serbia in 2000 through secret funding and meetings between the US National Endowment for Democracy (NED) and Serbian opposition leaders.

Today, the same network of NED-funded organizations are promoting protests across Serbia, citing legitimate criticism of the current government to mobilize crowds, incite violence, and divide and destroy the country again.

Regardless of what one's opinion is of the current Serbian government, and how deeply one believes the US-EU has supported it in the past, for whatever the US government is determined to target and undermine it today to replace it with either a more obedient client regime, or greater sociopolitical dysfunction and division than before.

To determine a protest's legitimacy, one must go beyond slogans and superficial conclusions drawn about either the opposition or the targeted government, and instead, name organizations involved, and trace their money back both to their true donors, and the true purpose of the protests themselves.

Violent protests unfolding in the Southeast Asian nation of Indonesia represent a carbon-copy of similar US-sponsored protests targeted the region in recent years, from Hong Kong to Thailand and Myanmar.

Media organizations vocally promoting the protests are directly funded by the US government through the US National Endowment for Democracy (NED) and mainstream Western media including both US and British state media.

Indonesia is being targeted by US destabilization for refusing to transform itself into a battering ram against China, and instead becoming the first ASEAN nation to join BRICS along side China and other members.

- The US has a stated policy of using division of labor and strategic sequencing in dealing with both Russia and China and an admitted "reality of scarcity" requiring the shifting of the Ukraine conflict onto Europe and an attempt to freeze it using Western forces and a buffer zone in much the way Syria was frozen (and eventually overthrown);

- A US-Europe split has been manufactured to sell division of labor to the European public who would otherwise reject fighting America's proxy war for solely US interests;

- Nothing has changed fundamentally within the US power structure to change the overall objectives of US special interests in regards to pursuing primacy worldwide, thus, no fundamental change in US foreign policy has taken place;

- The US geopolitical priority is the pursuit of unipolar hegemony through a division of labor and strategic sequencing, wanting a ceasefire to allow European forces to position themselves inside Ukraine allowing the US to pivot the center of global conflict to Middle East, Asia-Pacific;

- The US will provide Russia irresistible terms to lure Russia into a ceasefire and will use European client states to “disrupt” peace by sending in military forces to Ukraine, claiming Europe did it “unilaterally” in the same manner the US used Israel to attack Iran earlier this year;

- At the same time the US continues to encircle Russia through its interference in the Caucasus region, dismembering Iran’s network of allies in the Middle East, threatening to arrest Venezuela’s President Nicolás Maduro, and continues to prepare US military forces for confrontation with China in the Asia-Pacific, all of these nations being Russian allies;

- The US just used negotiations as a means of luring in Iran for a US-Israel decapitation strike on Iran’s military and political leadership, enabled the recent Israeli decapitation strikes on Hezbollah’s leadership last year, and President Trump himself recently gloated about luring Iranian General Qassem Soleimani to Iraq where a US drone strike killed him in 2020 - all of which raises the risk for Russian President Vladimir Putin traveling to the US for “diplomacy” with an “agreement incapable” government;

- Russian forces have taken the heavily-fortified, strategically-located city of Chasov Yar west of Bakhmut;

- Russian forces are continuing the encirclement of Pokrovsk, another heavily-fortified, strategically-located city in the Donbass region;
