Between one podcast guest postponing their recording date, four wisdom teeth extracted, and family coming in town, I don't exactly know how I managed to pull this episode together. But I am so glad I did. I have worked with Jo Schaffer and TABC for almost six months now, but being able to learn a little bit more about Jo and her writing story through this podcast episode was such a treat. Not only is Jo the innovative author of the "Stanley and Hazel" trilogy, she is one of TABC's co-founders, a writer at BYU-TV, a Taekwondo Blackbelt, and a mom. In this new episode Jo shares her experience about working with teen authors for over a decade and discusses her advice on how teen writers can better understand their own characters. If you haven't yet, check out her trilogy "Stanley and Hazel," for a historical fiction full of romance, action, and some classy "1930's" vibes. As well as take a listen to this months podcast episode, with this amazing lady!
