Missing Mummy

Episode 10 ends up being quite a timely reflection! It follows on from the previous blog where I felt I was going backwards, this one is very much the same in terms of feeling like I was just stuck in a endless loop of numbness with no progress. It also picks up on Elijah starting to show early signs of processing and understanding what happened to his mum.

Going Backwards

Episode 9 takes a look back at the blog where I write about feeling like I was going backwards. After a brief time of feeling like I was making some progress this was a time where I felt like all that hard work was being undone, it also briefly touches on when I had the first conversation with Elijah about his mum.

The 1st July - The day our future was wiped out and our worlds turned upside down. This episode takes a break from reflecting on the blogs and instead reflects on the 1st July. It provides a run through of our final day together and the event of that fateful morning. 

It's raw but hopefully by reflecting on the last 5 years it provides some hope and an insight it grief.

What was a really tough blog to write ended up being a really enjoyable one to reflect on! This blog covers the day I brought Taylor home after she was cremated and it was such a hard couple days but they were also filled with support and some positive moments too.
