This flight takes us from Hong Kong to London in the PMDG 747-400. There was no atc online so it includes the full take off and landing. Enjoy! Next leg is London to Las Vegas couristy Brish Airways. Picture...Vataware
This episode takes us from Melbourne, Victoria to Hong Kong. Since there was ATC at YMML and technical difficulties on final, the take off and landing are not included here, but, I do check in with updates just before taxis, after take off, at cruse, decent, just before final and just after landing. Enjoy picture here

This is the return journey that takes us from a rather stormy Brisbane, Queensland to a beautiful approach at Melbourne, Victoria. By this leg I have this plane down with few exceptions. Enjoy the picture.
Vatarew pt 1
Vatware pt 2
This trip takes us north from Melbourne, Victoria to Brisbane, Queensland in The Captain Sim 757-200. I spend most of this episode learning about the plane and then on approach fight some nasty weather. Join me in the jump seat to see if we make it to YBBN. Ok we do…but I was trying to sound suspenseful. But it didn't end well see?
The return trip (which went much better) will be posted in a bit
This new show takes you along with me as I do my virtual glob trotting. This episode highlights my trip from Los Angles, California to Melbourne, Victoria in the PMDG version of the Boeing 747-400. I cover everything from step climbs, to arrival planning and the ever depleting fuel level in tank 3. Come with me as I test the range of the original jumbo jet.

Since I've been spending much of the last few weeks playing flight sim and thinking, I decided that I might as well be efficient about it by playing flight sim, thinking and recording it. I review the writing projects that I currently have in the works. I also attempt to build on this idea of doing something instead of waiting. Maybe trying to find a way to marry podcasting with story telling with money. I also touch on my underlying ambitions and how I'd like the world to be a little different by the time I leave it. Trust me when I say, this is a big episode!

Earlier today I quoted Tom Petty in my Facebook status saying that "the waiting is the hardest part". This episode is built around the idea of waiting. What am I waiting for? Why am I waiting? How will I know when not to wait anymore? And any other questions one could ask themselves about waiting and delayed gratification.

In this episode I review what I’ve read of Donald Miller’s A Million Miles in a Thousand Years: What I Learned While Editing My Life. Mr. Miller seems to think that God is a writer giving us each the chance to tell our own story with our lives. I couldn’t disagree more. In this episode, I reveal my version of “The Secret”. I’d tell you right here in the description but that would ruin my fun. Donate twelve-hundred dollars to me via Paypal then download this week’s episode. I’ll be sure to tell you how much I enjoyed ripping you off while getting a free trip to London

This week continues on from the theme established last week. It turns out the “As Good As It Gets” philosophy isn’t working out. Or, at least I don’t know how to make it work out. I also update you on my crazy idea from last week. Through this discussion I eventually get to my point. Life is great when you are enthusiastic and inspired but starts to suck once you bring reality into the picture. This week’s question: How do you keep your enthusiasm for something after the initial inspiration is gone?
I also discuss an Open Source game called TDD recommend to me by a fan. You can check it out here.
Corrections: In last weeks episode I said Australia didn’t have public healthcare. I lied. Apparently, for Australian citizens medicare covers 85%. Still my point stands. Healthcare in The UK and Canada is way better then anything we have in the States. But, hopefully, our healthcare will suck less with the new law.

This episode is a bit of a mixed bag. I had so many topics to cover this week that I went a bit over my normal time target…by a minute…two minutes before I cut it down. Never the less, I think you will find this is a good use of your 23 minutes and 30 seconds. I talk about the passage of healthcare in the US (yay thank you Mr. Obama), an idea I had to work overseas later this year. I also update you on my writing progress and discuss how the ideas from the movie “As Good as It Gets” maybe applied to real life.
