It was a night like no other for the disciples. Peter, James, and John had ascended a mountain just beyond the border of northern Israel, most likely Mt. Hermon, and there Jesus revealed himself in his divine glory. As if that were not enough, the great law-giver Moses and the great prophet Elijah appeared with Jesus and were talking with him about his impending death in Jerusalem and what it would accomplish.
