The Night Train®

Here it is. The show few people want, another weirdo show! Volume 11 of our Oddball Purge. 2 hours of challenging music. At one point in the studio, one of us said “we’ve left the realms of what can be classified as music.” So there’s that to look forward to!

Next week we’ll be showing off our purchases from the year, which is always fun. Doing it a bit differently as the mixer in the studio is broken.

Happy Thursday everyone! Another week, another late show. Thing is, are any of The Listen Again Crew up to date with all the old shows? Possibly. If you are, sorry this is coming so late in the week.

Pretty much a normal show this week. Only difference is that Steve wanted to play some discomixes. So we did. That’s in the middle. Perfect if you like reggae, a tough listen if you don’t. Enjoy!

We’re back on Sunday with #375. 2hrs of odd music.

What a week. We’ll be honest, we’d kinda forgotten that we hadn’t uploaded the show. Once again, we’re thinking “we should just do it on Sunday night when we get home”. Perhaps we will this week. Keep your eyes peeled.

This show has got us playing some music but more importantly, it’s got a Studio One 45s Guest Mix from Rob BD6. It’s a doozy so we’ll probably upload it clean at some point so you can enjoy it without having to endure our waffle and picks.

Back this weekend with a normal show.

Look. It’s not our fault this upload has taken so long. It genuinely was out of our hands. We’re not gonna apologise either. If you tuned in on a Sunday, you’d have already heard it by now!

Anyway, that’s way more confrontational than is probably needed. This week, we’re debriefing after a busy October. Hear about what we’ve been up to and what we’ve been listening to. We’re back on Sunday with a Guest Mix of Studio One 45s. Genuinely hyped for it.

Alright folks? Hope you’re well. Hope your pets are doing OK. It’s Guy Fawkes Night here in England so that means plenty of fireworks. Not too dissimilar to our very first show 9 years ago.

We thought for our birthday we’d play some normal music. Hits, some might say. And SPOILER ALERT no drones. We know, we’ve shocked ourselves. Have we sold out? Does it matter? Will a poppier sound make us more popular? Time will tell. For now, get onboard The Party Train and enjoy the ride. Choo Choo.

As we are on the cusp of celebrating 9 years of amazing broadcasts on Community Radio, we thought we'd give you a "treat" for this week and upload the very first show. Marvel at how far we've come as "broadcasters".

Not sure we've listened back to this since we did the upload waaaaaaay back. Hope it's not too bad.

Howdy folks. You’re in for a TREAT with this show. That’s because we sourced a SMOKIN’ guest mix of Colombian Heat from friend of the show, Phillie B.

The rest of the show isn’t too shabby either, with a nice blend of old music, new music and some new old music.

Probably won’t be a live show on Sunday as we’re on extensive party manoeuvres this weekend so we’ll be tucked up in bed.

Howdy folks. Apologies for leaving you without a show for the last two weeks. We had hoped to line-up a little bonus episode from another show we like but that’ll have to wait for another time.

This week’s show is an “All 45s Live” special! We’ve raided the racks and somehow pulled out a pretty good show. Even if we do say so ourselves. Each set has a theme so it’s pretty cohesive. A rarity for us, we think you’ll agree.

If everything goes to plan, we’ll be back in the studio on Sunday with the usual old nonsense.
