We're back with our second road-trip podcast. This time we're talking with Cory Mathews, owner of Lazy Beach Brewing down in Corpus Christi. We talk with him about his starting the brewery in a vacation based city such as Corpus and how he started and hosted the first Corpus Christi Beer Festival this past March. Lazy Beach, was not affected by the storm, but as everyone else knows, that was not the same for the rest of the surrounding areas. Leroy and I made a road trip down to Port Aransas with our buddy James and decided to record a few episodes while on the trip. Our first recording was with New Braunfels Brewing Company. We sat down with Kelly Meyer, owner, and Nathan Rice, the head brewer.  We discussed different topics such as their love for beer, opening a brewery in a very tourist centric city such as New Braunsfel and how they deal with being a brewery that has a very central focus: Wheat and Sour Beers. If you get the chance to check them out, you really should. With that said, go crack one open, put your earbuds in and have a listen!

It's been a while.  Once again I have to apologize for another hiatus, but sometimes real life just gets in the way of everything, like it did for Leroy and I.  We are back though this time, with the interview we recordered with Greg McCarthy, one of the owners of Legal Draft Brewery in Arlington, Tx. back in June. We get in to some interesting topics such as going from being lawyer to brewery owner, residing in one of Arlington's old car dealerships, and the comparison between Legal Draft and Division, Arlington's other brewery. Hey gang, here we are with Retro Brew #2. With this epsidoe we are pairing the Goose Island Bourban Barrel 2015 Coffee Stout and the 2015 Regular Stout with the NES's Ninja Gaiden II: The Dark Sword of Chaos. We were going to pair the 2015 coffee stout, but like most know, a majrity of them had been infected. Also in the episode, we have our friend Three (really name Robert) help host the show.
