We start off this week thanking you the listener for taking the

League for the YouTube channel.
The first half of the show we discuss the retirement of
Stephen Strasburg, the disorder he has that lead to his retirement, his contract,
and the reasons he should be in the Hall of Fame. As well as a side bar about
the Hall of Fame voting committee.
In the second half we talk about two What If scenarios. What
if Wayne Gretzky doesn’t get traded to the Los Angeles Kings and we discuss
various potential outcomes of that situation. Our second one is what if Bo
Jackson doesn’t get injured. We get into various scenarios of where he could’ve
ended up, would he have won a Super Bowl and a World Series, and who benefitted
the most from Bo getting injured.

Welcome back to the Not Another Sports Podcast. We start
this show with thanking Dave from the 2216 Podcast for joining us last episode.
Jason talks about him and his wife going to see the Philadelphia Phillies play
a double header against the Washington Nationals for their 14th
anniversary. From there we get into the Athletic’s trade grades for the MLB
Trade Deadline as a follow up from last episode. We get into how we would feel
if we were New York Mets Fans, Jason gives who he thinks is the sleeper trade
of the deadline, We talk about the Baltimore Oriole’s being the top of the
American League East and how the team has turned it around, and of course we
get into Michael Lorenzen being traded to the Phillies and his no hitter.
In the second half we watch the test game of NHL Hitz 2003
that we played last weekend. We talked about the night we hung out, the food David
made, we get into why did a test game for the video capture card. We also pull
back the curtain and talk about our attempts to get a guest on the show related
to the NHL Hitz franchise. We talk about how the EA 3 on 3 hockey game attempts
to capture the magic of the Hitz franchise, but doesn’t quite get the job done.
