The Not Another Sports Podcast is back from an extended holiday break. We start this show off with a discussion about what happened with Damar Hamlin on Monday Night Football during the Bills vs Bangles game. We go over our initial thoughts of the hit, why we are conditioned to immediately look for head trauma as a football fan. We move into why we think Joe Buck handled the situation perfectly, the current status of Damar's health as we were recording and how great it is that he's breathing on his own and communicating again.

In the second period we go over the ongoing drama that is Carlos Correa's opt out for free agency this MLB off season. We go over the initial injury that is causing concern on his physical, why the Mets may not sign him and how he could go back to the Twins on a shorter deal than he was anticipating.

In the third period our intention was to discuss the NHL Winter Classic uniforms, but it became more of a generalized discussion about the Winter Classic itself, how it stemmed from the Heritage Classic, and why the uniforms worn by the teams are so important to recognizing the history of the sport.

We start off the episode talking up the MLB winter meetings, and all the free agent signings. We talk about this, and why some players thrive playing for a new team.

Finally we get into the third period where we talk about our favorite and least favorite jerseys from teams that we don't root for. Jason went with the Tampa Bay Rays Fauxback, and the Detroit Pistons late 90s uniforms as his best and least favorite. David went with the Atlanta Flames, and the Vancouver Canucks V look as his best and least. We also talk about some possible additional content we are currently working on for our YouTube channel.
