     In todays show, the guys cover all things oval ball and take a few pave laying detours along the way!

    As all great shows begin, we start at the beginning (08:53) with the Yeah/Nah Report. We cover a few transfer window rumours, the Kodi Nikorima to South Sydney Rabbitohs report and burn Jake Clifford for his "pressures" returning to red hot Townsville. We break down our Team of the Week (TOTW) and give updates in all things Fantasy (Sherpa's inbound) and Friday Footy Tip-Off (FFTO). How good is the doc guy!

    From there, and after a small glitch in the matrix, (30:37) the boys review Round 8. We touch on things like Karl Lawton's tackle on Cameron Murray in Sea Eagles vs Rabbitohs. We break down the masterclass Adam Reynolds Broncos put on Nicholas Hynes' Sharks. Then, Lach gives Matt a 5-minute time to cream all things North Queensland Cowboys but Matt has mercy and only uses about 4 minutes to talk about the destruction of 17 Parramatta Eels.

    Lastly, (56:43) the boys break down how they see Round 9 going. A few coin flip games, like the Bulldogs versus the Raiders (aka Faiders). None the less, it is going to be a cracking round of footy! Will Gus get the Dogs firing again in training or will Barrett take the whistle back? We cover all this and much more on the Oval ball show!

    In this shorter episode, the boys go over all things NBA playoffs (in the first round that is) and break down how teams are supposed to overcome their pitfalls.

    Beginning in the East (07:32) the gents break down all things wrong in Brooklyn, aka Kyrie, and what they have to do to fix that. They push on to talk about the Atlanta Hawks and their logjam of youth forcing higher contracted players out. From there they break into the West (20:11) and discuss the youth in New Orleans that has them bricked up. A few things that have them limp are in Utah with the Jazz seemingly having a superstar issue. Do they stick with Rudy Gobert, the 3x DPOY, or do they run with their young superstar Donovan Mitchell?

    In the oval ball show today, the boys go over all things (06:40) Yeah/Nah report, Team of the Week for Round 7 and give a brief fantasy update where Matt is climbing to the top of Everest like his Cowboys.

    Starting off with the Yeah/Nah Report and discussing Siosifa Talakai humping the Manly Sea Eagles into a 40-minute submission, the boys discuss the prospects of him playing Origin. Then, they break down the easiest Team of the Week and give updates on the FFTO (Friday Footy Tip Off) scores and how the NRL Fantasy League is going. The fellas also throw up some humble pie for the Newcastle Knights aka Kalyn and the Pongettes and toss out the idea that they are the Jamie Durie's (pave layers, IYKYK) of the NRL landscape regarding the Knights.

    Then, (32:13) the boys start to yarn about the reviews covering all things North Queensland Cowboys and Gold Coast Titans. Topic for today: What to do when the Hammer (Hamiso Tabuai-Fidow) comes back? We talk Melbourne Storm, Penrith Panthers and Parramatta Eels humpings of the respected clubs they versed and how delicious it is to see the Viking Clap mocked to the Canberra Raiders!

    Then, (1:04:30) the boys break into this weeks reviews where the boys go over a few coin flip games in the St. George Dragons versus the Wests Tigers and the New Zealand Warriors clawing back their souls against the Canberra Raiders. Both games the boys are split on but which way are they split? Tune in to find out more!

    Today on the show, the boys talk all things playoffs, out of pocket content they would produce if they were in the NBA and NBA Awards so far!

    They open the show (05:08) chatting all things playoffs and recap whether teams a "Legit or Faking It?" so far this season. Does the Boston Celtics sweep of the Brooklyn Nets make them legit NBA Title contenders? Does the Toronto Raptors semi-comeback on the Philadelphia 76ers make them legit or are they Faking it cause Glen (Doc) Rivers knows how to blow 3-1 leads like it is going out of style?

    From there, and after many tangents, the boys (37:50) find themselves talking about everything that is exciting them going forward in the playoffs. They discuss the likelihood of the Boston Celtics vs the Milwaukee Bucks being the East Conference Finals Round. They talk the dominance that is the Golden State Warriors and how they will dismantle either the Minnesota Timberwolves or Memphis Grizzlies. They breakdown the importance of Devin Booker to the Phoenix Suns and how this injury kinda helps his MVP case!

    Lastly, the boys (49:45) talk Croatian Kobe (Mario Hezonja) and NBA Awards so far. Did Ja Morant deserve the MIP (Most Improved Player) award, Marcus Smart the DPOY (Defensive Player of the Year) and Scottie Barnes the ROY (Rookie of the Year)? Plus, what the F--^ is going on with these smaller trophies?

    All this and a whole lot of dribble on 5thanddribble!

    This one was a biggie! The boys start of early, without saying grace to the people they love, breaking down (02:05) Kalyn Ponga's huge deal at the Newcastle Knights. They talk what this means for him, the club and Newcastle in general. From there, (04:15) the boys tickle into the Yeah/Nah report discussing Luke Brooks at Five-Eighth and the importance of Jackson Hastings, the return of Te Maire Martin for the Brisbane Broncos and who would you pay a million for?

    Capping off this long discussion (34:53) the boys Team of the Week is announced as well as (37:55) the results from Friday Footy Tip off (#FFTO) and a brief Fantasy update! Footy Reviews (40:43) kick off with the North Queensland Cowboys comeback win over the Canberra Raiders in stunning fashion. We then break down the other game we were in attendance at , The Penrith Panthers versus the Brisbane Broncos on Good Friday. We give our thoughts on Sydney Roosters versus New Zealand Warriors, aka the appalling reffing, and push on to the Spool Bowl aka Wests Tigers versus Parramatta Eels (happy, happy days!).

    Lastly, (1:00:45) the boys break down the upcoming week of football and zag when they should zig, like always. Strap in and sprinkle some ball dust on this podcast cause she's a goodie that needs the love!

     On today's Tuesday instalment of 5th and Dribble, the lads break down the play-in tournament (3:46) between all 7th to 10th seeds in the Eastern and Western Conferences. 

    After Matt pours his heart out, they move on (9:55) to talk about the first day of the Playoffs and discuss the upsets and match ups in the Utah Jazz versus the Dallas Mavericks and Minnesota Timberwolves versus the Memphis Grizzlies. After day one comes day two (22:11) and the fantastic buzzer beater Jayson Tatum had for the Boston Celtics, regardless of Kyrie Irving's 39 points for the Brooklyn Nets. We break down where the Phoenix Suns could probably rest some guys and praise Javale McGee for his impact on the floor. 

    Last but not least, (37:48) the NBA Award Finalists have been announced and key names like Giannis, Embiid and Jokic are going for Most Valuable Player (MVP)! The lads break down their final predictions as to who will go home with the hardware (including a hot take about Tornoto's own Scottie Barnes!).

    On this episode, the boys begin with (07:25) breaking down their Team Of The Week in the NRL and get jiggy with some NRL Fantasy Talk. From there, (14:35) the boys talk all things Round 5 (or that was seen at least) including the heart-breaking defeat of the North Queensland Cowboys to the New Zealand Warriors. As all good things go sequentially we then break into (22:25) the previews for Round 6 and discuss the impact of players like Jackson Hastings for the Wests Tigers, David Klemmer and "The Saifitie Brothers" for the Newcastle Knights, and Xavier Savage for the Canberra Raiders. 

    The boys then go acapella and work off script (44:47) talking a little shop around NSW Origin Camp with the news breaking around Latrell Mitchell. Who do Matt and Lach think get into the 4 and 14 jerseys? Could it be Nicholas Hynes, Matt Burton, Stephen Crichton, Campbell Graham or Ryan Papenhuyzen? Finally, we cap it (55:39) with some Friday Footy Tip-Off talk and general banter about how the San Diego Agua Caliente Clippers fell asleep in t he NBA Play-In Tournament.
