The Not Your Grandmother's Book Club Podcast

This week, we abandon the country during the election (just in case) and pull together a prager roulette, this time of some of the folks one possible future president may be listening to in the run-up to the election.

This week, we have the worst timing, deciding to start a multi-episode series about Project 2025 the week before the U.S. Election. This time around we look at the structure and purpose of the 2025 Mandate for Leadership, and dig into its Foreword, written by creepy weirdo and head of the Heritage Foundation, Kevin Roberts, proving that this document would not be taken seriously by anyone in a sane and good world.

This week, we finally finished Ted Cruz’ book “Unwoke: How to Defeat Cultural Marxism in America” and it ended with the wet fart we expected. In a few weeks we will be picking back up with our new book review of Pat Buchanan’s “Death of the West.”

This week, we took a look at one of the festering sores on the heel of the United States the Heritage Foundation, one of the largest and influential far right propaganda centers in the country. Connections to white supremacists, bad college recommendations, and priorities more at home in the 1920s than the 2020s, they’ve got it all.

This week, we begin the final chapter of Ted Cruz’ “Unwoke” with chapter 9 China. This time around, Ted tells more fake glorious stories about his exploits behind closed doors and forgets what his personal Covid Conspiracy theories are.

This week, we finished off the second half of Chapter 8 of Ted Cruz’ “Unwoke” all about how the science is on Ted’s side, as long as the science you want to believe in comes from creepy race science obsessed weirdos.

Hello everyone. I've named the episode honestly this week because it is what it is. Unfortunately we were stuck with just one recording session to fill the episodes for when Kevin is on vacation and here is the first of those. Unfortunately because we could only record two there will be a week where Patrons do not get a new episode. We will make up for it I promise and I will not be charging patrons at all for the month of September.

Despite that, we did manage to have some fun with another Project 2025 training video and we hope you enjoy too.

Thanks as always for listening and enjoy the show!
