Our special guest this episode is Megan Hoskin who was part of the first trio and youngest to cross the Pacific Ocean in summer of 2018 as part of the Great Pacific Race. Learn how her and her team had rowed through two hurricanes, had to manually pump the water out of their boat for almost the entire crossing, and what you absolutely need to think about before crossing to keep your sanity and technological devices in tact.

Special Guest Kelda Wood of Row to Raise. Kelda is so refreshingly honest in this episode. She tells us how she avoided butt sores, hand issues, and some of her maintenance routine to help her feel human and stay clean through her crossing. She is a solo rower that had a unique schedule and I was so excited to hear about it. I hope you enjoy!

This is update episode 4! Answering some common questions I get a lot when I tell people I want to row across an ocean. Where do you go to the bathroom? Where do you sleep? How big is the boat? What happens when you sleep? Why do you have to get off the boat? What do you do in a storm? Etc...

My second interview podcast, with guest speaker, Tim Crockett from Tame the Kraken! The first solo ocean rower on the podcast, and he gives so much advice about rowing an ocean that it's like he was in my head. Learn what to bring with you, how a beanbag and large rubber duck named Roy made it onto his packing list, and how his auto helm didn't cooperate, but he lets us in on the secret to not have that happen on a future row. Plus so much more!

This is my second update episode!
In this episode I answer some questions, to the best of my ability, that I've gotten from inquiring minds such as... What's the difference between ocean rowing and crew? What type of campaign do I want to run? Do I want to break a record? What kind of boat do I want? How can you practice ocean rowing with no ocean around?
I also give some insight into where I am in my boat planning and decision making. Along with giving some info on who is coming on the podcast next and how you can follow a future ocean rower who is currently building his boat and planning his trip for the Atlantic!
