La Liga predictions & betting tips on Matchday 27. Hit ‘Subscribe’ to never miss our La Liga predictions & betting previews! No Account at Novibet yet? Claim your £10 Free Bet directly: bit.ly/3i41Ttf The action starts on Friday with the Valencia derby, as Levante host their rivals Valencia. Both teams are safe from danger, so this one will be for pride. Saturday’s action kicks off in the Basque Country with Alaves at home to Cadiz. Then Real Madrid will look to return to winning ways when they host Elche. Zinedine Zidane’s men are keen to close the gap at the top to Atletico but they’ve got Champions League in midweek to consider. Real Valladolid will be looking to continue their mini-revival when they visit Osasuna in Pamplona, and Getafe will want to keep it tight at the back when Atletico make the short trip to the Madrid outskirts. There’ll be no pressure on either Celta Vigo or Athletic Bilbao when these two sides in the north of Spain go head-to-head on Sunday. But Granada will face a tough test when Real Sociedad travel to the south following their Europa League game against Molde on Thursday. Eibar will be keen to take advantage of their tired opponents when Villarreal come calling, with Unai Emery’s side also featuring in European competition on Thursday night. The penultimate game of Matchday 27 is between Sevilla and Real Betis in the Andalusian Derby, with this game being played at the Sanchez Pizjuan. Always a fiery and explosive encounter, this game should be a classic on Sunday night. The final game of the weekend sees Barcelona face bottom of the table Huesca. Ronald Koeman’s Barca will be fully expected to pick up maximum points in order to keep their title bid alive. However, their attention in the build-up could be distracted, with a trip to Paris in the Champions League. Eduardo Siles is back in the hot seat presenting Odds On. He’s joined by the fantastic Alvaro Romeo, a diligent and brilliant Spanish football expert. They’re here to discuss all things Spanish football. This is an audio version of our YouTube video. As always in the Bundesliga, our weekend preview starts on a Friday. It’s a match between two teams who have really misplaced their form in the second half of the campaign, with Augsburg at home to Gladbach. The hosts have lost four of their last six, whilst the visitors have lost five straight in the league. Saturday’s action starts with Mainz at home to Freiburg. Despite their relegation concerns, the hosts are favourites for this game with just one defeat in their last five games. They need just a point to move out of the relegation zone. Freiburg’s last away game was a win over lacklustre Leverkusen. Union keep drawing matches, meaning European football remains at arm’s length for the capital club. They’ve won just one of their last seven games and up next is Cologne. This is a big game for both sides, with Cologne three points above the relegation play-off places and Dortmund and Wolfsburg up next. Robert Lewandowski is closing in on Gerd Muller’s all-time Bundesliga record for 40 goals in a season. His Bayern teammates could help him go a step closer to this achievement when they take on Werder Bremen on Saturday. They remain top of the table following a comeback 4-2 win in Der Klassiker last week. Wolfburg have sat in the Champions League positions for a huge amount of the current campaign. They’re still 3rd following their 2-1 defeat to Hoffenheim. This weekend they play bottom side Schalke, who managed to earn a rare point against Mainz. Borussia Dortmund take on Sevilla on Tuesday night in the Champions League – we don’t know the outcome of that game as this video goes live. But in the Bundesliga they’ll take on Hertha Berlin. The capital club took a step away from danger with an important win over Augsburg. They’re still just two points above the relegation play-off place. Bayer Leverkusen beat Gladbach 1-0 at the weekend following a run of five winless games. After just two wins in their last 10, they’re still just three points off the Champions League positions. On Sunday they play Arminia Bielefeld, battling for survival, but struggling to score goals. The penultimate match sees two strong sides go head-to-head as RB Leipzig host Eintracht Frankfurt. Julian Nagelsmann’s men play Liverpool in the Champions League in midweek; this could impact their approach to this tie. They’ve won six in a row in the league, whilst Eintracht are 4th. The final game of Matchday 25 sees Hoffenheim travel to Stuttgart. This is a very mid-table clash with the two sides in 11th and 9th respectively. Both will be staying up this season. This game will be played for pride. Eduardo is in charge of proceedings again this week. He is once again joined by German football and betting expert Radek Vegas to work their way through every game in the Bundesliga. Their Swiss opponents impressed many with their performance over Bayer Leverkusen in the previous round. Villarreal found Salzburg little trouble as they beat their Austrian opponents in both legs in the Last-32. Yellow Submarine manager Unai Emery - famed for his Europa League heroics - has been handed a decent tie against Ukrainian side Dynamo Kiev. The game of the round sees giants Manchester United and AC Milan go head-to-head in the Europa League. It’s 2nd in the Premier League against 2nd in Serie A. We all know this should be a Champions League game but we’ll settle for this! Slavia Prague surprised many fans with their away win against Leicester City last time out. The Czech side will now face Scottish champions Rangers. Steven Gerrard’s Gers are unbeaten in the league this season and will be celebrating toppling their fiercest rivals Celtic. Italian side Roma play Ukraine’s Shakhtar, whilst out-of-form Granada have been handed a decent draw against Norwegian side Molde. The final two other fixtures in the Europa League Last-16 see Arsenal play Greek side Olympiacos, with their north London rivals Tottenham drawn against Croatian outfit Dinamo Zagreb after breezing past Wolfsberger in the last round. This is an audio version of our YouTube video. Our show starts in Germany, more specifically in Dortmund, as Borussia Dortmund host Sevilla in their second-leg Champions League Last-16 clash. The hosts are 6th in the Bundesliga following their disappointing collapse against Bayern Munich at the weekend. They could be without star man Erling Haaland for this game against Sevilla, but have a formidable home record in the UCL this year with five wins and two draws from seven. Their opponents are 4th in La Liga after suffering four defeats in their last five games. They’re unbeaten in their last six Champions League games. Also on Tuesday, Italian champions Juventus will need to overcome a 2-1 first-leg defeat at the Dragao when they take on Porto. Andrea Pirlo’s side are 3rd in Serie A and look unable to catch Inter in top spot in the race for the Scudetto. This game against Portuguese opposition could decide the manager’s legacy – and cut his tenure short. Sergio Conceicao’s men are unbeaten in seven games away from home, but were beaten 3-1 by Manchester City during the group stage of the competition. Currently second in the Portuguese league, a win over Juve here would be a major coup for the 2004 winners. Wednesday’s hive of football fun begins in the north east of England at the home of the English champions. They won’t be retaining their domestic title this season. Jurgen Klopp’s side are 8th in the Premier League, and have suffered an incredible six league defeats in a row at Anfield, among a run of eight winless games. They’ve also only scored two goals in the process. Their opponents, RB Leipzig, still understand there’s an uphill task for them to overcome their first-leg defeat at the RedBull Arena. Julian Nagelsmann’s side are 2nd in the Bundesliga, with their 3-0 win over Freiburg taking their winning run to four games in a row. The final Champions League game this week could be an absolute classic. French champions Paris Saint-Germain play Barcelona at the Parc des Princes. Maurico Pochettino’s men are only second in Ligue 1 but bounced back from their defeat to Monaco with three wins in a row. They arrive into this fixture with a healthy aggregate lead from the second leg following a masterclass from Kylian Mbappe at the Nou Camp. Ronald Koeman’s Barca are up to 2nd in La Liga after beating Osasuna at the weekend; they’re now just three points behind early season sprinters Atletico as the end of the season closes in. Since their first-leg humiliation at the hands of PSG, the Blaugrana have won four and drawn another and look in fine form ahead of this clash in the French capital. Our resident host Eduardo Siles is back to preview all the best action across Europe. Alvaro Romeo and Daniele Fisichella are our experts in football and betting, they’re here each and every week to preview, discuss, analyse and dissect every fixture of this season’s Champions League. They’re also on hand to provide betting tips, odds, picks and predictions. This is an audio version of our YouTube video. No Friday night football in Italy, we’ve gotta wait until the weekend proper to see Spezia take on Benevento. Pippo Inzaghi’s side are now 16th in the division following their 3-0 defeat to Verona, making it 9 games without a win. Europe is out of reach for both Udinese and Sassuolo at this stage of the season, but they can both produce performances on their day. Udienese drew 1-1 against Milan, whilst Sassuolo drew their last game 3-3 with Napoli. The biggest game of the weekend sees Juventus take on Lazio in Turin. Juve have a huge couple of days ahead of them; with both their Champions League aspirations and Scudetto hopes currently hanging in the balance. Roma can move back into the top four with a win over Genoa. The Romans are two points from the Champions League spots but have dropped points following defeats to Milan and a draw with Benevento. Bottom side Crotone look long gone after succumbing to their seventh defeat in a row. They take on Torino, currently in 18th position – the relegation zone – with two games in hand over their rivals. This is a huge game for the visitors. Fiorentina are desperate for a victory in order to avoid real problems at the bottom of the table. They’re just five points off the drop zone after four defeats in their last five. Parma are 19th and also look to be heading to the B. Milan’s title hopes look dead and buried following their draw with Udinese. The red side of Milan are now 6 points off their city rivals wearing blue. They take on Verona, who recently drew 1-1 with Juventus. Sampdoria drew 1-1 with Genoa in the Lanterna Derby in midweek, meaning they’re now three games without a win. They take on Cagliari, 17th in the standings but with two consecutive wins to their name. The penultimate game of Matchday 26 sees Napoli take on Bologna. Gennaro Gattuso’s side are 6th in the standings but just five points off the UCL positions. Bologna recently lost to Cagliari after four games without a defeat. The final game will be played on Monday, as leaders Inter host Atalanta in a brilliant game for the neutral. Inter top the table by six points and are now definite favourites for the title. Their opponents this week are 4th but will arrive to the San Siro in impressive form with four straight wins in the league. Eduardo Siles is back on presenting duties - we can hear you celebrating! He’s joined by Daniele Fisichella, the guy that brought you that 40.0 ACCA winner not long ago. He’s a man that can do no wrong in our eyes. This is an audio version of our YouTube show. We start on Friday as bottom side Schalke take on Mainz. The Gelsenkirchen side have just 9 points to their name and sacked their manager in mid-week. Mainz need to take this chance to take maximum points in their survival bid. Saturday’s action starts in Gladbach, as Borussia take on Leverkusen. Both sides are out of sorts but yet still remain in the battle for European qualification. It’s 9th versus 6th and both are in need of the three points. Eintracht Frankfurt ended their five-game winning streak last weekend after a 2-1 defeat to Werder Bremen. They remain in 4th place with 42 points. Their opponents this week are Stuttgart, they arrive after thrashing Schalke. RB Leipzig overcame a two-goal deficit last week to earn a 3-2 win over Gladbach and keep their title tilt on track. They take on 8th placed Freiburg, who recently performed very well against Dortmund. Hertha Berlin are in trouble, there’s no doubt about that. They’ve only earned 1 point from their last 7 games, and no wins since the 2nd January. They take on Augsburg, who sit 8 points above the relegation zone. Wolfsburg are well and truly in the Champions League race, with six wins and a draw in their last seven games. They haven’t been beaten since the 3rd of January, and this weekend they take on Hoffenheim. The hosts are unbeaten in three but are now out of the Europa. The final game on Saturday is the biggest of the weekend, it’s Der Klassiker between Bayern Munich and Dortmund. The Black & Yellow are rejuvenated with four victories in a row with Erling Haaland and Jadon Sancho bang in form. Sunday starts with Cologne at home to Werder. The hosts arrive on the back of a 5-1 mauling by the defending champs, meaning they’ve now lost three on the bounce. Werder have lost just once in their last four Bundesliga matches. The final game of Matchday 24 sees relegation candidates Arminia Bielefeld take on Union Berlin. The hosts have just a point in their last five games, whilst Union are just three points from the European spots. Eduardo is in charge of proceedings again this week. The midweek action starts in the north west with Wolves’ trip to Manchester City on Tuesday night. Nuno Espirito Santos’ side are huge outsiders for this clash at the Etihad, with Pep’s Citizens targeting their 20th win in succession.
Wednesday starts in Lancashire, as the Clarets host the Foxes. Sean Dyche’s Burnley are 5 points above the drop zone and certainly not safe yet. Meanwhile, Leicester are looking to bounce back from a disappointing week.
The Blades could move a point clear of Derby County’s 11-point record haul from 2007/08 when they take on Aston Villa. However, the Villans are just 5 points off Chelsea in 5th, with two games in their pocket.
The evening kick-off sees Man Utd travel to south London to take on Crystal Palace. The title race is over, that’s for sure, but the Red Devils are keen to confirm their place in the top-four for another campaign.
Thursday’s Premier League action begins in the Black Country, as West Brom host Carlo Ancelotti’s Everton looking to pull themselves out of the abyss. The Baggies are nine points from Newcastle in 17th, only a win will surely do.
The final game is an absolute cracker, as Liverpool and Chelsea go head-to-head at Anfield. The Reds are 6th in the table, just a point and a place behind Thomas Tuchel’s Blues. This could prove pivotal in the race for the final Champions League qualification place.
Everyone’s favourite presenter – Eduardo Siles – is now back in the hot seat. Celebrations all round. He’s joined by a new guest this week to preview each and every Premier League clash on Matchday 25. Tom Rennie is a radio presenter for SiriusXM FC and also a lead commentator for TalkSport.

This is an audio version of our YouTube show. Tuesday’s game between Lazio and Torino could yet be called off due to Coronavirus impacting Torino’s squad. If this does go ahead, Lazio will certainly be favourites for this game, especially as they have won 6 of their last 6 games at the Olimpico. The other game on Tuesday night sees Juventus host Spezia at the J Stadium. Andrea Pirlo’s side were held to a 1-1 draw with Verona last time out but Juve should be too strong for the Little Eagles in this one. Sassuolo had a Matchday off at the weekend against Torino. How will that impact their players’ performance when they host Napoli? Gattuso’s side bounced back from Europa League failure with 2-0 win over Benevento. Milan kept the pressure on rivals Inter for the title at the weekend with their Sunday night win over Roma. On Wednesday they play Udinese, a side who simply don’t score enough goals. Milan faves for this one, for sure. Two sides at either end of the table, Atalanta and Crotone go head-to-head. Atalanta kept their first clean sheet since October at the weekend and now have 4 wins from 5. Crotone lost to Cagliari, which all-but seals their relegation to the B at this stage. Benevento are also in action as they take on Verona. Few goalmouth action is expected in this one. You can get odds of 11.0 for this to end 0-0. Cagliari, now just 2 points from safety, take on Bologna at home on Wednesday night. Their opponents looked like their season was already over in February, but that didn’t stop them beating Lazio 2-0 at the weekend. Fiorentina’s horrible season continues on the back of a 1-0 defeat to Udinese at the weekend. They have 3 wins from their last 10, over Spezia, Crotone and Cagliari. They play Roma, who must win this game to keep in contention for the top-four spots. The Derby Della Lanterna was once described as the “nicest” derby in Italy by 2006 World Cup winning manager Marcelo Lippi. Both have been content in mid-table for the majority of the campaign, but derbies are always a tricky game to pick. The final game of Matchday 26 sees two sides are either end of the table meet up, with Parma at home to Inter Milan. Parma were 2-0 up against Spezia on Saturday but failed to hold on, eventually drawing 2-2, a result that does their survival hopes little good. Inter, on the other hand, are a winning machine. Antonio Conte’s side are four points clear and have conceded just once in their last 7 games. Go for goals in this game. Tom Beck is on presenting duties for one last show, with Eduardo returning tomorrow! We can hear you celebrating!
