The Omniplex

Welcome to Part 2 of The Neighbors Chronicles! Hellllp uuuuusss...

We document the second episode of The Neighbors Chronicles, thankfully shorter, thankfully (slightly restrained), with 1000% more catchphrase power. Also the Princess of England! So much to look forward to!

Re: The clip at the end - I swear to Christ it plays out as-is, I did not mess with it in the slightest.

Check those title graphics!

Hey there!

We soooooo wish we could actually watch these films, but.. well, we explain.

We hope you had as much fun as we did!

Click here for some of detailed notes on some of the hidden the references and gags on our made-up films!

We wrap up our week-long tribute to Galatea Films by reviewing their most batshit (or penguin-shit) film, Penguigeddon!

We've been waiting a LONG time for this one. We came upon this film (and subsequently the film company) when Austin found it advertised in a Russellville, Arkansas newspaper archive, reading "When the penguins attack, we all die!" Well, Austin was finally able to track down a bootleg copy of the film, and what emerges is a fucked-up lost piece of film history that you have to see to believe. Unfortunately we couldn't include clips due to a deal with the mostly reclusive filmmakers, BUT we hope you have fun hearing us try to describe the experience!

Embedded soundtrack: Lost Themes by John CarpenterEnd song: "Santa Claus is Coming to Town" by Alice Cooper

We were also able to secure copies of Galatea's other works, mostly thanks to Ezekiel Breckenridge. (We were told to destroy them immediately afterwords, but we're at least able to talk about them.)

Welcome our new minisode miniseries, The Neighbors Chronicles!

As the title suggests, we're reviewing each and every episode of The Neighbors. One. Fucking. Episode. At a time. This is our obligation to our namesake and the baffling nature of the mystery that is Tommy Wiseau. Please enjoy our torment as we try to pick through jokes dealing with shotguns, whipped cream, partial nudity, suggested chicken sex (don't ask), and general randomness.

The Neighbors is viewable on Hulu Plus. Don't say we didn't warn you.

If you'd like to know more about the mystery that is Tommy Wiseau, read his Reddit AMA here.

Buy Tommy's underwear! It comes with a copy of the much-sought-after script for The Room!

Hey there!

Welcome to our first official episode of 2015! First, a prelude.

For the unaware, Albert had a medical emergency, for which he is still recovering. This has rendered us unable to put anything up on the official page for a couple months. Austin has been filling in with his 4Shared site with solo entries (some of which will show up here). We decided to go ahead and record our Best of 2014 via Skype regardless. Please Enjoy!

We tried to keep this as spoiler-free as possible (unlike the Oscars did- ahemGONEGIRLSPOILERSGODDAMMIT), because we want you to watch them.

Meeeeerry Christmas everyone!

As our gift to you for this glorious holiday season, we present our long-awaited discussion of the Disney Renaissance! From The Little Mermaid to The Lion King and beyond, we can't get enough of these films. So come reminisce with us the best family films of our generation!

Thank you all for a wonderful year, and here's to many more to come! Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Welcome again to our second and final Hitchcocktober cast for 2014!

This episode we continue the Jimmy Stewart/Hitchcock colaboration with Rear Window! A lot lighter than Vertigo (yet still containing murder), Rear Window is the greatest movie equivalent of a bottle episode that there ever was. Join us as we spy on the neighbors- er, praise this great film.

Welcome to a very special edition of The Film Room!

This week we have the lovely Amanda Shinn with us to talk about our favorite film franchise on television, Sherlock! We discuss our favorite episodes, characters, why the show is as great as it is, and there is plenty of fangirling over Benedict Cumberbatch (and not just from Amanda). So join us as we get Sherlocked!

SPOILERS: Full spoilers are on for this cast, so if you haven't finished Sherlock and/or haven't seen it, we recommend giving it a watch before listening. You've been warned!
