In minute 102, the woman who ID'd Lentz drops a bombshell on Newman and Biggs: He dead! Kimble stops in to visit Dr. Wahlund for hugs and some lab work, and they discover liver shenanigans with the samples. Sykes wanders down a hallway in the hospital. Bones sings to himself before an unknown voice says "excuse me."

Minute 101 starts with Bones handing Kimble the liver samples he was looking for, and Richard promises to return them. Bones, who clearly doesn't get out much or read a newspaper, asks what happened with that thing about Kimble's wife. Kimble just tells him it's not over. Back at Sykes apartment, fire trucks arrive to create a distraction while Sykes escapes out the back. At the hospital, a woman identifies Dr. Alex Lentz as the man in the fish photo with Sykes.

Sam is not buying it for one minute. Outside the hospital, Kimble paces before starting to make his approach. Back at highrise HQ, Cosmo wonders why Kimble is investigating.

Dr. Nichols shakes hands in minute ninety-eight before being interrupted by Sam and Cosmo. They show Nichols the photo from the junket trip and tell him that Kimble broke into Sykes's apartment. Nichols claims not to know Sykes. Nichols accuses Deputy Sam of getting pretty desperate. Sam asks if Kimble has been to see Nichols, which he denies. Having covered this ground before, Nichols excuses himself and starts to walk away. Sam lets him, but then goes full Columbo and seems to want to ask one more question.

We dial in to minute ninety-seven with Nichols realizing Richard is on the other end. Kimble informs Chuck that he found the one-armed man, and that Richard himself was the target of the hit. Devlin MacGregor and Lentz were responsible because Kimble found out there was an issue with their new wonder drug. BUT WAIT! It turns out that Lentz was killed in a car accident last summer! Nichols wants to know if Kimble has proof about the issue with the drug, and Kimble thinks he can prove it. He asks Nichols to call Bones at the hospital and tell him to provide assistance, which Nichols agrees to do. They hang up.

He wants a camp built in front of Sykes' apartment to keep an eye on him, and he wants Newman to look into the guy sitting next to Sykes in the photograph. At the Chicago Hilton, Dr. Nichols is informed in the middle of his meeting that there is an emergency and he goes to make a call. Kimble answers the phone and says "Chuck."

Sykes tells him he handles security for Devlin MacGregor and all their top executives. Sam asks about the photos, then spots a photo of a big fish and Sykes explains that it was a junket for some doctors. He gets snarky when Sam asks if Kimble was there and repeats that he doesn't know him. Sykes wants to take a look and see if anything is missing. Sam asks how he lost his arm, to which Sykes replies "in the line of duty." Sam and his team exit the apartment, and Sam exclaims to Cosmo that Sykes is dirty, to which Cosmo agrees.

Sam continues to ask him questions, Sykes gives his alibi, and Sam asks what kind of work Sykes does. He tells Sam that he is in security for a pharmaceutical company.

Minute ninety-three begins with Poole giving some biographical details about Frederick Sykes (Andreas Katsulas), then Deputy Sam gets called over to the desk to look at the photos that Kimble thumbed through. Biggs tells Henry that Sykes is approaching his home, and the ex-cop is met by Biggs and other law enforcement. He is already suspicious and is led into his apartment, demanding what the hell is going on.
