  • Out of Our Heads: The Rolling Stones, The Beatles and Me
Rolling Stones Insider Shares Memories and Rare Artifacts in New Book Back in the mid 1960s, overnight, a street-smart east coast kid went from being a college student to tour manager/moneyman and confidante to the Rolling Stones. The band didn’t eat, drink, or even play unless Ronnie Schneider did his job, and this trusting relationship led to a wild adventure that would soon include the Beatles, Swinging London, and producing the mythical ’69 Stones tour that culminated in the infamous show at Altamont. In his new book, Schneider gives readers an all access pass into the most intimate spaces, from hotels and boardrooms to private planes and backstage debauchery, crunching deals, babysitting the band, tasting wine, woman and dope – this is a front row seat to rock’s last great era; jam-packed with rare artifacts and all the paperwork to back it up.

  • Thomas Sheridan : Jimmy Savile
During Savile's lifetime, sporadic allegations of child abuse were made against him dating back to 1963,[100] but these only became widely publicised after his death. Savile claimed the key to his success on Jim'll Fix It had been that he disliked children, although he later admitted to saying this to deflect scrutiny of his personal life. He did not own a computer, claiming that he did not want anybody to think he was downloading child pornography.[1] His autobiography As it Happens (1974, reprinted as Love is an Uphill Thing, 1976) contains admissions of improper sexual conduct which appear to have passed unnoticed during his lifetime.[101]

Former Sex Pistols and Public Image Ltd vocalist John Lydon alluded to sordid conduct committed by Savile, as well as suppression of widely held knowledge about such activity, in an October 1978 interview recorded for BBC Radio 1. Lydon stated: "I'd like to kill Jimmy Savile; I think he's a hypocrite. I bet he's into all kinds of seediness that we all know about, but are not allowed to talk about. I know some rumours." He added: "I bet none of this will be allowed out."[102] As predicted, the comment was edited out by the BBC prior to broadcasting, but the complete interview was included as a bonus track on a re-release of Public Image Ltd's 1978 debut album Public Image: First Issue in 2013, after Savile's death.[103] In October 2014, Lydon expanded on his original quote, saying: "By killed I meant locking him up and stopping him assaulting young children... I'm disgusted at the media pretending they weren't aware."[104]

In a 1990 interview for The Independent on Sunday, Lynn Barber asked Savile about rumours that he liked "little girls". Savile's reply was that, as he worked in the pop music business, "the young girls in question don't gather round me because of me – it's because I know the people they love, the stars... I am of no interest to them."[105] In April 2000, in a documentary by Louis Theroux, When Louis Met... Jimmy, Savile acknowledged "salacious tabloid people" had raised rumours about whether he was a paedophile, and said, "I know I'm not."[106] A follow-up documentary, Louis Theroux: Savile,[107][108][109][110] about Savile and Theroux's inability to dig more deeply,[111] aired on BBC Two in 2016.[112]

In 2007, Savile was interviewed under caution by police investigating an allegation of indecent assault in the 1970s at the now-closed Duncroft Approved School for Girls near Staines, Surrey, where he was a regular visitor. The Crown Prosecution Service advised there was insufficient evidence to take any further action and no charges were brought.[113] In March 2008, Savile started legal proceedings against The Sun, which had linked him in several articles to child abuse at the Jersey children's home Haut de la Garenne.[114] At first, he denied visiting Haut de la Garenne, but later admitted he had done so following the publication of a photograph showing him at the home surrounded by children.[115] The States of Jersey Police said that in 2008 an allegation of an indecent assault by Savile at the home in the 1970s had been investigated, but there had been insufficient evidence to proceed.[116]

  • DC Sniper Confesses to 30 More Murders
In October 2002, a little over a year after the September 11th terrorist attacks, the entire East Coast was gripped in fear by a series of random shootings and murders that occurred in and around our nation's capital.

    The Panic...

These were innocent people, doing everyday things, from pumping gas, to reading a book on a park bench, mowing their lawn or just walking down the street. Most were gunned down in broad daylight, seemingly without any rhyme or reason. The shooters left no evidence other than a loud bang and a single bullet casing in their wake. The only connection between all of the victims was that there was no connection at all.

The panic that began with the first murder on the evening of October 2nd had spiraled out of control by October 22nd. 10 people were dead and at least 3 others were critically injured. Buses lined the front of schools to protect children as they entered and exited. Families were held captive in their own homes. Law enforcement had no real leads or answers and could not offer anything to calm the public's growing concerns. Nobody was safe.

    The Capture...

Then 2 days later, in the early morning hours of October 24th, the D.C. Snipers were apprehended at a rest stop in Myersville, Maryland. They were caught as they slept in their dark blue 1990 Chevrolet Caprice.

    The Other Story...

Now, a decade later, Lee Boyd Malvo provides intimate personal details through a diary that was written 2 years after the shootings. The diary was brought out of the darkness through a relationship that was established by Anthony Meoli over 7 years of wanting to know the real story behind Lee's motivation for committing these crimes.

At first this relationship was initiated by letters, it was later fostered through personal phone calls which were taken on a weekly basis. It was during one of these calls that Lee revealed that a diary existed and it would explain the details of his life that have never fully been known. It would be a combination of traumatic life events that would become the catalysts of change, eventually leading him to choose the wrong path from which there would be no return.

What you will find inside Lee Boyd Malvo's fully authorized diary will shock you.

  • Dr. Feelgood: The Shocking Story of the Doctor Who May Have Changed History by Treating and Drugging JFK, Marilyn, Elvis,
The true story of Dr. Max Jacobson, whose addictive meth “cure” made him the most sought after, and dangerous, rogue physician from Hollywood to DC.

Under President John F. Kennedy, the Secret Service had a nickname for German-born New York doctor Max Jacobson: Dr. Feelgood. A member of the presidential entourage, Jacobson offered a unique “energy formula” that guaranteed relief for JFK’s chronic and debilitating back pain. It also gave JFK the vigor, stamina, energy, and crispness to demolish Vice President Richard Nixon in a landmark televised debate, guaranteeing his win for the White House.

What JFK didn’t know was that the injections were powerful doses of highly addictive liquid methamphetamine and steroids, among other ingredients. But JFK wasn’t the only celebrity to depend on Jacobson’s “miracle cure.” Jackie Kennedy, Frank Sinatra, Elvis Presley, Judy Garland, Montgomery Clift, Eddie Fisher, Truman Capote, Elizabeth Taylor, Tennessee Williams, Marlene Dietrich—and dozens more—felt the sting of Jacobson’s needle.

Through previously unpublished material and revealing interviews with such celebrities as George Clooney, Jerry Lewis, Yogi Berra, Eddie Fisher, and Sid Caesar, the authors reveal Jacobson’s indirect influence on historical and cultural events, from the Cuban Missile Crisis to the death of Marilyn Monroe and even the filming of the Cecil B. DeMille classic The Ten Commandments. Dr. Feelgood is “totally convincing about…the troubling stranglehold that Jacobson and his untested mind-bending concoctions had on a whole swathes of high society in the U.S. of the sixties, including the White House. Until now, Dr Feelgood has been a footnote in history. We may now have to afford him a more important part in the story of the 20th century.”—Daily Mail (UK)
