  • Melvin Dummar: Howard Hughes Will
    Melvin Dummar: Howard Hughes Will
Melvin Earl Dummar (August 28, 1944 – December 9, 2018) was a Utah man who earned attention when he claimed to have saved reclusive business tycoon Howard Hughes in the Nevada desert in 1967, and to have been awarded part of Hughes' vast estate. Dummar's claims resulted in a series of court battles that all ended in rulings against Dummar.[3] A Las Vegas jury determined in 1978 that the will, leaving Dummar $156 million, was a forgery.[4] Dummar's story was later adapted into Jonathan Demme's film Melvin and Howard in 1980. A 2005 reinvestigation of the circumstances surrounding the so-called Dummar Will yielded new evidence not previously known.
    Dummar's purported meeting with Hughes

While working at a service station in Willard, Utah, Dummar claimed to have discovered a disheveled and lost man lying on the side of a stretch of U.S. Route 95 about 150 miles (240 km) north of Las Vegas, Nevada, near Lida Junction. The man asked Dummar to take him to the Sands Hotel in Las Vegas. Dummar claimed that only in the final minutes of their encounter did the man reveal his identity as Hughes.
    The "Mormon Will"
After Hughes' death in April 1976, a handwritten will was discovered in the Salt Lake City, Utah headquarters of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Though purportedly written by Hughes in 1968, the will had many strange discrepancies. It named Noah Dietrich as an executor, despite the fact that Dietrich had left Hughes' employ on bad terms in the late 1950s. The will left approximately $156,000,000 to the LDS Church and although Hughes had employed many LDS workers, he had never been a member of that church. The will left money to his two ex-wives, Ella Rice and Jean Peters, even though both women had alimony settlements that barred claims on Hughes' estate. The will was rife with misspellings, including misspelling the name of Hughes' cousin. It called Hughes' famous flying boat, the Hughes H-4 Hercules, the "spruce goose" — a derisive nickname that Hughes had always despised.[5] Most oddly, the will left one "Melvin DuMar" of Gabbs, Nevada one-sixteenth of Hughes' estate.

Trevor Aaronson : The Terror Factory: Inside the FBI's Maufactured War on Terrorism
A groundbreaking work of investigative journalism, The Terror Factory: Inside the FBI's Manufactured War on Terrorism exposes how the FBI has, under the guise of engaging in counterterrorism since 9/11, built a network of more than fifteen thousand informants whose primary purpose is to infiltrate Muslim communities to create and facilitate phony terrorist plots so that the Bureau can then claim it is winning the war on terror. The paperback edition of The Terror Factory includes all new information on the FBI's counterterrorism efforts related to the 2013 Boston Marathon bombing, as well as how the government has used (potentially illegally) FISA information in sting cases.
Trevor Aaronson is an investigative reporter for Al Jazeera America. He has won more than two dozen national and regional awards, including the Molly Prize, the international Data Journalism Award, and the John Jay College/Harry Frank Guggenheim Excellence in Criminal Justice Reporting Award.

  • Graeme MacQueen :The 2001 Anthrax Deception: The Case for a Domestic Conspiracy FULL
Graeme MacQueen :The 2001 Anthrax Deception: The Case for a Domestic Conspiracy FULL

The 2001 anthrax letter attacks in the United States killed five people andwounded dozens. They were widely blamed on extremist Muslims andtheir backers and used to support the invasions of Afghanistan and Iraq. They were also used to justify and hasten the passage of the USAPATRIOT Act, which was being presented to Congress just as the firstanthrax victim grew ill.In October 2001, one of the hypotheses that gained ground was that ofthe Double Perpetrator, the claim that al-Qaeda was carrying out theattacks with the support of Iraq. Much evidence was put forth to supportthis Double Perpetrator hypothesis but independent scientists soondiscovered that the anthrax spores came from a domestic lab in the USserving the military and intelligence communities, not from al-Qaeda orIraq. The FBI then quickly claimed that an individual was responsible for theattacks and began noisily looking for this “lone wolf.” In 2008 the Bureaunamed Dr. Bruce Ivins of the US Army Medical Institute of InfectiousDisease as the “anthrax killer.” Although the FBI remains committed tothe Ivins hypothesis, the case has been disintegrating for the last threeyears. Currently, it is justly held in contempt not merely by scientists whoworked with Ivins but by many journalists as well as several US senators. But this raises the question: if Ivins did not commit this crime, who did? This book presents evidence to support the following points:(a) The anthrax attacks were carried out by a group of perpetrators, notby a “lone wolf.” The attacks were, therefore, the result of a conspiracy—by definition a plan by two or more people, made in secret and resultingin an immoral or illegal act.(b) The group that carried out this crime consisted, in whole or in part, ofinsiders deep within the US state apparatus.(c) These insiders were the same people who planned the 9/11 attacks(d) The anthrax attacks were meant to facilitate a seizure of power by theexecutive branch of government through intimidation of Congress andUS civil society. They were also designed to achieve public acquiescenceto and support for the redefinition of US foreign policy, replacing the ColdWar with a new and aggressive global conflict framework, the Global Waron Terror.

  • Graeme MacQueen :The 2001 Anthrax Deception: The Case for a Domestic Conspiracy
The anthrax letter attacks occurred from September through November of 2001, killing five and wounding many. The attacks were widely held to be the work of Muslims and were used to support the invasion of Afghanistan and, later, the invasion of Iraq. They were used explicitly and repeatedly to justify the passing of the Patriot Act. They were also meant to support withdrawal from the Antiballistic Missile Treaty, a withdrawal eagerly sought by the neoconservatives associated with the Project for a New American Century who wished to pursue their global agenda without obstruction from small states with WMD. In the early days of the attacks there were several perpetrator hypotheses in play. One that gained prominence was the Double Perpetrator hypothesis according to which Iraq had supplied the sophisticated anthrax spores while al-Qaeda had supplied the foot soldiers responsible for preparing and sending the letters. This hypothesis was eagerly reported by the mainstream media. It came to grief quickly when scientists discovered that the anthrax spores had a domestic source and appeared to come from the heart of the US military and intelligence communities.

The FBI rapidly began a search for "the anthrax killer," promoting the idea that there was a lone wolf perpetrator within the military community--a renegade, an unbalanced person whose behavior revealed nothing of significance about structures and institutions of the deep state. In 2008 the Bureau named Dr. Bruce Ivins of the United States Army Medical Research Institute of Infectious Diseases as the "anthrax killer." Ivins had conveniently died a week before being named and could not fight back in court. Ivins remains the FBI's choice to this day: the case was closed in 2010. This book support with a great deal of evidence the following four assertions: (a) the anthrax letter attacks were carried out by a group of perpetrators, not by a “lone wolf;” (b) the group that perpetrated this crime was composed, in whole or in part, of deep insiders within the U.S. state apparatus; (c) these insiders were connected to the perpetrators of the 9/11 attacks; (d) the anthrax attacks were meant to play an important role in the strategy of redefinition through which the Cold War was replaced by a new global conflict framework, the Global War on Terror.

  • George Christie : OUTLAW CHRONICLES: HELLS ANGELS
    George Christie Jr.
George Christie Jr. was born in 1947 in Ventura, California to a family of Greek immigrants and grew up an only child. From an early age, he was fascinated by motorcycles and outlaw culture, and by the time he started school his intelligence and rebellious attitude set him apart from his peers. As a teenager, he became an avid surfer. When one of his surfing buddies showed up at the beach one day on a Harley-Davidson, George knew what he had to do. In 1966, despite the objections of his father, he bought his first bike–a 1957 Panhead–for $200. He was soon hanging around with Ventura outlaw bike club The Question Marks and famous motorcycle customizers Von Dutch and Dick Woods.

As George puts it, “some people run away and join the circus. I ran away and joined the Hells Angels.” He became a full-patch Hells Angel in the Los Angeles charter in 1976 and, six months later, became its president, before founding the Ventura charter in 1978. As Ventura leader, George became one of the most powerful voices in the national Hells Angels organization, and spent three decades battling the law, rival gangs and members of his own club, while building the club’s business operations.

He famously carried the Olympic torch in the 1984 Los Angeles Games and spent a year in solitary confinement in prison on numerous charges in 2001. In 2011, Christie resigned his presidency of the Ventura charter and left the club. He was immediately excommunicated by his former brothers. George spent another 18 months in prison from 2013-2014 for conspiring to firebomb two Ventura tattoo shops.

George currently serves as a consultant on organized crime for CNN. He lives with his wife and son in Southern California and has three adult children.

    He has no regrets.

His business, Felony Prison Consultants (www.felonyprisonconsultants.com), where his expertise is called upon by high-profile and every day people who are faced with incarceration.
His show, Outlaw Chronicles: Hells Angels (www.history.com/shows/outlaw-chronicles-hells-angels), which airs for the next 3 tuesdays on the History Channel at 10/9C.
