With a strong family lineage, Michael Ignatieff was a rising star in the Liberal Party in the late-1960s. While his political career would wait until 2005, he would quickly rise in the Liberal Party and was leader by 2008. Unfortunately, the 2011 election would not be an easy one for him or the party.
