Mike goes on to say “Brandy is the most influential R&B singer on other vocalists in the last 30 years.” Mike goes on to explain that you hear both men and women citing Brandy as an influence rather than her contemporaries.

GG was happy to put a face to the Twitter persona and we dive into a discussion about do you have to separate your online personality from your job? TT says at the end of the day she can only be her. DD reminds us that if you choose to work in an industry, you can have love for the industry itself and remembering that.

We of course breakdown this season of All My Tejadas aka Power Book II: Ghost and the explosive dinner where Diana let the chopper sing on her own mother. TT asks if we would talk to our mother like that and I think we agreed that we wouldn’t but we def think Diana was provoked. The show is a soap opera that we cannot get enough of!

Also we would be remised if we did not talk about our sister, Lauren Smith-Fields who lost her life and it took for Twitter to rally around her family and the case for the police department to do their jobs. We’re praying for her family and friends during this time and are heartbroken at what has happened.
