In todays world, it is impossible to avoid technology. We use it to make our coffee in the morning, text messages to friends, microwave food and work on laptops. Were being zapped! Today 84 % of Americans own a cell phone, 89 million of us watch TV beamed in by satellite and we cant sip a cup of coffee at our local cafe without being exposed to Wi-Fi. The very electronic innovations that have changed our lives are also exposing us, in ways big and small, to an unprecedented number of electromagnetic fields. Invisible pollution surrounds us 24/7, interrupting our bodies natural flow of energy. And for some, that pollution has reached the point of toxicity, causing fatigue, irritability, weakness, and even illness. But we dont have to simply surrender. Ann Louise Gittleman brings forth the latest research into electromagnetic fields to create this groundbreaking guide for every citizen of the wireless age. With the proactive, levelheaded approach that has made her one of our most respected health experts, she not only clarifies the risks but also offers specific, step-by-step information for how anyone can minimize them. From where you place your sofa to when you use your cell phone to what you eat for dinner, Zapped is packed with strategies for avoiding and mitigating the damaging effects of electropollution. As she examines modern life room by room, device by device, Gittleman reveals a master plan for detoxifying your surroundings and protecting yourself and your family. We dont need to abandon our homes or even give up our PDAs to be healthier and happier. Based on the latest scientific data, case studies, and Gittlemans years of clinical practice, Zapped is an empowering guide to living safely with the gadgets we cant live without.

What can you do if your car a gas guzzler? As the price of petroleum continues to rise, many people are converting their cars and motorcycles to electric powered vehicles. Clean transportation enthusiast, Ben Nelson has developed a “Do It Yourself” series to teach people with minimal skills how to build their own electric car. Ben's educational videos make converting your old gas guzzler easy regardless of whether you are a mechanic or your only experience has been with matchbox cars! Ben covers everything you need to know from battery selection, the motor, controller, adapter plate and other minor parts! Ben is a natural born guru! While he had no formal training in electric vehicle design before beginning his first project, he quickly learned how to build “EV's” (electronic vehicles) through a combination of hands-on work, informal apprenticeships, and enough library books to literally wear out his library card. He has presented his electric vehicles at many venues, including the Mother Earth Fairs and being the best attended presentation at the Midwest Renewable Energy Fair. He has also been a collaborator on the Open Revolt project, which makes low-cost electric vehicle motor controllers available to everyone. In addition to his passion for clean transportation, Ben has also designed and built projects for renewable energy, water conservation, and alternative heating and cooking methods. He teaches these ideas and techniques to others through blogs, web videos, and instructional DVDs.

In this segment of The Clean Energy View Radio Show, host, June Stoyer talks to Ben Nelson about how to Build Your Own Electric Car and Motorcycle. Stay tuned!

It is that time of the year again when it seems as though during the winter months, fleas, ticks and mosquitoes have been building their armies in anticipation of the Spring weather so they can launch their attack on your animal companions. Oddly enough, some have actually adapted to the weapons that have been used against them. Others have mutated so they are stronger and bigger. There are now so many new flea and tick medications on the market that it seems like an easy problem to solve. However, no one really thinks about the danger of these chemicals to our animal companions! If you live in a warm climate, year round, there is no relief from the cold weather that generally kills these parasites. They are a problem all year long. This also means that our animal companions require year long protection. Just how safe are these chemicals? What are the implications of the animals being given drugs that are often poisonous? How are they being administered? Could some of the diseases and behavior issues be related to these products? In this segment of The Organic View Radio Show, host, June Stoyer talks to animal and wildlife advocate, Laura Lluellyn-Lassiter from Soul Be It (http://www.Soul-Be-It.com ). Laura will provide some new products that are not only organic but explain the use of electro-magnetic energy fields to eliminate these insects. She will also discuss the top ten flea myths, why the flea is such a fierce enemy, natural defensive strategies for animals in addition to defending the home environment, inside and out. Stay tuned!

The path to affordable sustainable energy, especially when it comes to efficiency and accessibility has many challenges. This is primarily because of the costs involved with production and distribution of energy. There are also many other factors to consider, such as environmental impact, safety, available resources and efficiency of the technology. While it would be great if we could simply switch to renewable energy overnight, unfortunately we still have a long transitional period ahead of us, especially if the United States is to become completely energy independent. With massive power outages impacting large segments of the population, it is obvious that we can be thrown off the grid at any time and in any location. Severe weather systems such as Hurricane Katrina, Superstorm Sandy as well as the blackout in India last July (which affected over 620 million people) have demonstrated the reality of what can be expected because of the lack of available electric energy. The key is solution is energy storage.

In this segment of The Clean Energy View Radio Show, host, June Stoyer talks to energy expert, Ron MacDonald, the Executive Chairman of American Vanadium about a historic and timely solution for providing sustainable electric energy storage. Stay tuned!

Neuroscience has discovered that we have complex, adaptive and functional brains in both our heart and gut, called the cardiac and enteric brains respectively. Science is finally catching up with deep insights from esoteric and spiritual traditions informing us for thousands of years about these three powerful intelligences of head, heart and gut. Using methodologies from NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming), Cognitive Linguistics and Behavioural Modelling, and the latest Neuroscientific discoveries, the newly emerging field of mBIT (multiple Brain Integration Techniques) has codified a powerful system for communicating with and integrating the wisdom and intelligence of your multiple brains.

Tune in to this segment of The NLP View Radio Show, as host, Donna Blinston RN is joined by authors Grant Soosalu and Marvin Oka to discuss their best-selling book, "mBraining Using Your Multiple Brains To Do Cool Stuff"! Stay Tuned!
