Most people take for granted that when they select a wine, the ingredients are going to be pure and natural. However, as most conscious consumers know, this is not the case. There are 200 ingredients on the list of government-approved additives for wine. However, unlike food, wine manufacturers arent required to list their ingredients (which can include animal proteins, oak chips, sulfurs, yeasts, enzymes, preservatives, and “Mega Purple” which is a brand of highly concentrated wine color) on the side label. This renders most consumers to be clueless about what exactly is in their wine and used to produce it. In the book, Naked Wine, wine expert, Alice Feiring explores these very issues as she discusses the process of natural wine making. In this segment of The Organic View Radio Show, host, June Stoyer will speak to award winning expert, Alice Feiring. Alice Feiring is an award-winning food and wine journalist and author of the Battle for Wine and Love. Formerly the wine/travel columnist for Time, she now writes for the New York Times, the San Francisco Chronicle, Conde Nast Traveler and theLos Angeles Times Magazine, among many others. We are at a critical point where so many species are on the brink of extinction. Primates are one of the endangered species that are hunted for food and captured for exploitation. Great apes – chimpanzees, bonobos, gorillas and orangutans – are in great demand in Middle Eastern and East Asian safari parks, zoos and private menageries. Most shocking is the fact that corrupt national CITES officials in several countries are deeply involved in the trafficking. Many die en route to the transit cities, packed in between other illicit products, they suffocate, starve to death, or their little throats dry up whilst calling for help which never arrives.  It's a journey through Hell, to slavery, to a life behind bars. It is a life sentence for a crime which they have never committed.

In this segment of The Organic View Radio Show, host June Stoyer talks to wildlife photographer and environmental advocate, Karl Ammann, about this crisis and what we can do to protect all primates.

A harsh yet accurate statistic according to Cancer Research UK (24 July 2012) is that 1 in 3 people will develop cancer of some sort in their lifetime. Mouth cancer is one of the UK's fastest growing cancers, with incidences of the disease increasing by more than 45 per cent in the last decade. Latest figures show that around 6,000 new cases are diagnosed in the UK every year - a disease that kills more people in the UK than testicular and cervical cancer combined - with one person dying every five hours from the disease. Working with an NLP coach, Keith Hern challenged cancer head-on and emerged successfully with a second chance in life. Keith explores every emotion which touches the life of a person who has been told “You have cancer”. From the beginning, he takes you through his amazing journey in an honest, heartfelt and courageous manner. Being diagnosed with a potentially terminal disease is mentally traumatic. For those on this journey, sometimes comfort can be found through the words of someone who has travelled that road. Tune in to this segment of The NLP View Radio Show, as host, Donna Blinston R.N is joined by author, Keith Hern to discuss his personal success following the publication of his best-selling book, Bangers and Mash, How to take on throat cancer, chemotherapy, radiotherapy and win, with help from an NLP coach. Today's show was aired in the memory of Keith Hern.  May he rest in peace.

When most people go away for the weekend, they come back with great memories of the things they did, the people they saw, etc, etc. What if you went away for the weekend and came home with a new friend? However, there is just one slight detail about this friend that might be a bit difficult for you to explain. It just so happens that this friend is actually the spirit of an African-American nanny that has been stuck in her home for the last 150 years! For someone like J.H. Soeder, this was a very interesting situation because although he had been communicating with spirits since he was a child, he never had one that was stuck in a different time. This certainly was a challenge! In the book, Haddie's In Our Closet, J.H. Soeder talks about his unusual friendship with a spirit named Haddie. The relationship was not unusual because she was a spirit but because she was stuck in a time when white men did not befriend slaves and treat them as equals. J.H. has the unique opportunity of enlightening Haddie about how much the world has changed as well as helping her to “make the decision” to move on. In this segment of The Organic View Radio Show, host, June Stoyer talks to award-winning author and famed animal communicator, J.H. Soeder about his latest inspirational book which is about friendship, family and enlightenment. This will really open your eyes about what Hollywood tells us about the spirit world and the huge difference about what the true reality is. Stay Tuned!
