The Outdoors Show

Dr. Dave Edwards, the "official" wildlife biologist of the Nimnicht Chevrolet and Nimnicht Buick-GMC Outdoors Show, joined the guys to talk turkey! Specifically, Dave talked about what to do to prepare for the season. And when they were not talking about the woods, Jeff, Capt. Kevin and Capt. Kirk talked about all kinds of offshore fishing tips and tricks, including boat safety, fishing spots, and more. And, as always, thing got a little sideways...

Capt. Kevin was off doing some OSR, so Capt. Scott welcomed in Capt. Leon Dana for some guest hosting duties. The guys talked about fishing, of course, but they also gave some noteworthy insight into boat maintenance. If you own a boat, you do not want to miss this one.

The guys had the privilege of catching up with Boyd Duckett, co-founder of Major League Fishing. Boyd has registered four wins, 23 Top 10s and more than $1.7 million in career winnings. There was also lots of talk - and lots of laughs - about hunting, guns and food, too. And by the way...how do you pronounce giblets? We had NO CLUE how sideways this would get us...

It has been a crazy start to 2020...January has been a wild mix of weather and fishing! So the question is this: does the wackiness continue into February? Get the answer here, and try to figure out how Capt. Kevin got lost in a sea...of tires!

Capt. Kevin and Jeff were out of the mix to handle some OSR, so Capt. Kirk took the helm and docked the show at the Prime Osborn Convention Center for the 2020 Jacksonville Boat Show! Surrounded by beautiful boats, Kirk chatted it up with Capt. Scott Shank and a very special guest, Dr. Dave Edwards from Cabin Bluff!

Well, if you have an ice scraper, you may be in good shape for fishing this week! Hear what the captains have to say about keeping the heat on in First Coast waters...

For starters, Capt. Kirk was out...he stayed home to try to recover from the flu. So Capt. Kevin and Jeff handled the show this week, and spent some time wrapping up and reflecting on the season. However, because of the crazy weather, they couldn't decide whether to talk more hunting or fishing! However, things went sideways IN A HURRY, and you will have to listen to the whole show to figure out if they ever got back on track!
