The purple banners marched long ago. They march again today.

 This one is out of chronological order, but unfortunately I felt I had to finish this one first given the events of the world around me. Much work of annihilation is simply waiting, watching, making sure the various efforts do not go off kilter. Oddly enough, the direction is almost the exact same for order and civilization. It's the little details that matter the most. The little bits of pain you bring onto orders cascade with time into entire movements and institutions of evil, and vice versa for good.

 This is a bit of a weird one, creepy too (all of the Pantheon proper ones will be). Mostly just put this out here to get my uploading schedule closer on track. A prospective colonist finds terror in peace. 

 Even relative isolation can wreak terror on the human mind. We all understand this, and yet here in this country we engage in isolation as a punishment. I make no exaggeration when I say it would be less barbaric to pull out their toenails and run a vine of thorns through their tongue, leaving them to bleed to death on the ground. The magnitude of suffering in that case is far less. We are complicit in this madness, all of us, even if just a little.

The Burning One dies, and a bit of forgiveness dies with it. 

The world is full of problems. Why? Many reasons, but I feel the most prominent one is that we simply don't bother to ask one simple question.  

These are not that question, but they are important, nonetheless:

Where is your blade aimed? For what reason do you kill? Do you understand that you are killing? Because you are. 

This mini-series is almost done. There's a bunch of off-shoot subplots I've written out that may or may not be turned into episodes, but the core of this thing's message is almost said.
