She shares personal insights into what it is like to work in an international organisation and in some of the most war-torn societies on earth.

We hope this episode gives you a better idea of what it is like to work for an NGO such as the ICRC and the UN and maybe gives students some inspiration for their future career path.

Koen Bruning, second year PPE student, is only 21 years old and has already written a book, called 'Samen Rijk' (Together Rich), which got published Wednesday 31th of March 2021. In the fourth episode of PPE Encounters, our host Wieke van Vlaardingen interviews Koen about his book. The first part of this interview Wieke asks Koen how on earth he made it possible to write a book at this age. In the second part, Koen talks about the content of his book, mostly about chapter 1. Koen will illustrate how the universal basic income can be the solution to problems caused by too much wealth inequality.
