When Her Body Betrayed Her — How Prayer Became Her Prenatal Care Ft: Dr. Legena Crawford
This week on The Path Podcast, we’re revisiting a powerful journey shared in The Boldroom that’s sure to leave you with hope — the story of a woman who refused to let what happened in the past have the final word at that time in her present.

Success looks different for everyone. It don’t come wrapped one way. What success looks like for one person might not be what it looks like for you.
See, we all might end up at the same destination, but the roads we take? They’re not the same. Some of us had to crawl. Some had to climb. Some had to fight our way through seasons we didn’t even see coming and for others they glide in unscathed.
My point is - so stop trying to copy somebody else’s picture — you don’t know the pain, the process, or the price they paid to get there.
In this week’s solo episode, we’re asking what does success look like to you?
I learned a long time ago - never to wish for what others have, because I don’t know what they had to survive to get it.
So today, I’m asking you — what does success look like to YOU?
Not your neighbor. Not your coworker. Not the person on social media. You.
In this episode, I’m dropping questions to make you think, reminders to keep you grounded, and the motivation to keep building — even when the journey gets heavy. Don’t let obstacles make you forget what you’re built for.
Because the version of success that’s got your name on it — it’s already written. You just gotta keep walking the path.

“Every problem introduces a person to himself.” – John McDonnell
Let’s be real — pain has a way of knocking the wind out of you when least expected. You didn’t ask for it. You didn’t see it coming. And yet, here you are… face to face with the version of yourself that only shows up when life gets real.
In this solo episode, I'm not speaking from a place of perfection, but from a place of honesty. In life, pain doesn’t announce itself - but when it shows up it forces you to pause, pivot, and press through.
This isn’t just about survival, this is about reclaiming your power.
We don’t erase the pain — we reframe it. We don’t pretend it didn’t hurt — we own it, and we decide to heal forward.
Healing doesn’t have a deadline. Your timeline is yours and yours alone — but know this: you will heal… if you choose to chase it.

Most recently, Lanise became became the Co-Owner of Pediatric Hospice and Palliative Care of Georgia - offering comforting care for families during every step of their journey.

This episode is for anyone navigating the quiet ache of loss, or sitting beside someone who is.
In this episode, we discussed:
This conversation is a reminder that grief doesn’t need to be rushed, silenced or solved - It simply needs to be held.

“You’re not confused — you’re being called higher” - Unknown
I almost let the mic go… but purpose had other plans.
In this solo episode I spoke my truth of nearly hanging up the mic on The Path Podcast — and why God said “No, don’t quit, you need to reframe it.”
It’s time to step into The Boldroom — the place where detours are developed, our voices are activated, and we rebuild on our legacies.

In 2017, Hannah Hopkins Walton heard four words that changed everything: “You have breast cancer.”
Fear. Shock. Questions with no immediate answers. “Am I going to die? Who will take care of my kids? How do I break the news to my loved ones?”.
But instead of being defined by the darkness, she chose to fight her way toward the light.
In this powerful and candid episode, Hannah shares how her journey through breast cancer that led her to create Hannah’s Superbad Podcast a space to bring hope, humor, and healing to others walking a similar path. Through laughter, tears, and truth-telling, Hannah reminds us that even in life’s heaviest battles, light can be found—and shared.
This episode is more than a story of survival. It’s a testament to what happens when you choose to live out loud, love harder, and light the way for someone else.
