Submissions were reopened and extended until Tuesday 14 January at 1pm for the Treaty Principles Bill after unprecedented volumes of submissions were put through the Parliament website - 3 times as many as the previous most submitted Bill.

Just because the holidays have happened, doesn't mean democracy and our need to be involved, diminishes at all - in fact there's still more work to be done.

News deserts - they're large areas not covered by local news coverage and with the closure of local news outlets all over the country recently, there's a real risk of this happening and causing problems for the local body elections later in the year.
