The Penley Project

This week we dive into each other's love languages. Guess who's the cuddler?

And UPDATE: Received a boob shot from Kevin midweek so he's out of the doghouse.

Our first installment of our "Third Wheel Series" where we'll host our friends/family and shoot the stuffings. First guest is my bestie, Lindsey. She's fun, she's quirky, and she reinforces and also reinvents the librarian stereotype. We love her. Listen as Lindsey and Kevin full on nerd out about all the summer movie releases (Solo, Adrift, Ocean's 8, Incredibles 2, Jurassic World, Ant-Man and the Wasp). FULL DISCLOSURE: I'm ALREADY too lazy to post links of things we talk about, so Imma cut that mess out now.

*Update for those keeping track: Kevin has yet to show me his boobs (Kevin, if you ACTUALLY READ THIS ONE refer to last episode's blurb).

Show Notes - Episode 3 (aka 2):

APPARENTLY I don't have to timestamp this stuff... Which I JUST discovered because Kevin was asking what I was doing...

So here's an abridged and UN-timestamped version of our show:

*Visit Kevin's multiple IG accounts: Pizza Planet Video Rental, D.A.D. Log, Neverending Book Club (complete with their own logos/stickers).

*Vocabulary via Adam Savage's http://www.tested.com/ - "Completionist"

*Black Panther - https://www.imdb.com/title/tt1825683/?ref_=fn_al_tt_2

*Titan AE - https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0120913/?ref_=nv_sr_1 (ANIMATED MOVIE - NOT A CARTOOOON)

*Ready Player One - https://www.imdb.com/title/tt1677720/?ref_=nv_sr_1

*Our awesome sticker-making friend - https://lokitactics.com/

*There are (2) feedback blips - sorry. We're new.

*Also - enjoy our ambient background noise of laundry.

*Since Kevin didn't read the show notes that I lovingly toiled over last week - WHEN YOU READ THIS, SHOW ME YOUR BOOBS, KEVIN.

FULL DISCLAIMER: MK here and I have NO idea how show notes work. Kevin said we needed "show notes" so here...

Show Notes - Episode 1:

* 1:30 - Skip to here if you could care less about the "Cliff/Spark Notes" version of how we met.

* 4:35 - From here on, count how many times we say "curate".

* 7:20 - Glimpse into Kevin's quirks.

* 8:22 - Kevin meant to say "VCR" here... So did MK.

* 9:45 - Kevin wants to point out he is NOT a millennial.

* 11:05 - Listen as we wax poetic about ourselves (or skip)

* 11:55 - "We are the World" - We do not own the rights to this song.

* 13:20 - TAGLINE troubles.

It took 45 minutes of us recording to get this 2.5 minute trailer. #edited (Are we still hashtagging? Is "hashtagging" a word?)
