David Stockton joins The Perimeter to look back on his Gonzaga career, going from walk-on to pro, and what it was like playing during one of the biggest eras in Zag basketball history. Adam and David talk about Gonzaga’s rise to national powerhouse status, legendary WCC moments, competing alongside Kevin Pangos and Gary Bell Jr., and David’s journey through the G League and overseas basketball.
Adam is joined by Luke Hristou, creator of the upcoming Spokane basketball pilot Real Rat, to talk about building the project from the ground up and turning years of Spokane hoops culture into a scripted series. Inspired by the city’s deep basketball roots and the personalities surrounding Hooptown USA, the pilot blends comedy, local basketball culture, and real Spokane energy into a story centered around chasing basketball dreams in one of the most basketball-obsessed cities in the country. Luke and David also talk about the challenges of independently creating the pilot, the community support behind it, and what they hope Real Rat can become moving forward.
The Real Rat pilot premieres May 21st at The Garland Theater in Spokane. Tickets available here: Real Rat Pilot Premiere Tickets
