We were so inspired by our Lord of the Rings score talk that we decided it would be fun to discuss our Top 10 movie scores. 

Goofs: When discussing The Mission, it's Gabriel's Oboe not Daniel's Oboe. Lisa Gerrard is the female voice on the Gladiator score not Enya.

Join us as we close out The Lord of the Rings Trilogy by discussing The Return of the King. We’re still arguing over Orlando vs Vigo, and we find plenty more to disagree about, but also lots of things we love, and we toned down the quotes in this installment compared to The Two Towers. Laurie tries to go Karl Malone over MJ in the 1999 MVP race when we hand out our award on Who Won the Movie.

"It's dangerous thing, going out your door." We celebrate 20 years of The Lord of the Rings with a trilogy breakdown for the next three weeks. Forgive us for going long on this one, but it's The Lord of the Rings! We tidy it up in the next one and the one after that, we promise. Laurie and I really enjoyed Byers consistently quoting or making reference to the extended editions as this was the first time he had watched them.  

The Drax Award (Quotes) is admittedly lengthy so if you want to skip that the reference is from 41:30 to 54:22. 

Byers and Troy get testy about who wins breakout performance at 1:27.

***Sorry ahead of time for some of the sound glitches. The recording didn't really leave room for error in the edit so we decided to roll with some of the clipping because you can get the gist of what we are saying rather than clearing out the thought that was interrupted.
