  • 42. Q&A - How to create the hook for a lead magnet, overcome procrastination, find alternatives to social media for your business and what to do if your friends don't support your life changes

This Q&A episode explores questions from community members and some I've found inside private groups. The questions we cover in this episode include:

    - I'm planning to start my business or side project but I’m struggling to think what my lead magnet could be and how I hook people

    - I'm struggling with time management and not having any free time to myself with having to take the kids everywhere, work, look after the home. How do I create more time?

    - I keep giving in to convenience and ordering takeaways because I can’t be bothered to cook. How do I change this?

    - I have a business but I’m struggling to get new customers and I hate social media. Are there any alternatives?

    - I find myself procrastinating too much and not taking any action towards my goals and dreams, I just have a feeling of overwhelm when thinking about all the things I need to do

    - I’m starting to make changes in my life but my friends aren’t supportive and just laugh at what I want to do

  • 41. How I've finally found alignment, embraced technology and am moving forward

Spoiler alert - this episode is a little different. It's an admission. An admission that I haven't been operating in alignment and been true to myself.

There's a part I've been leaving off the table and after repeated suggestions from others, reading, listening and watching I'm finally embracing a part of me that I was trying to move away from.

It feels like a weight has been lifted and so in this episode I want to share with you:

    • What alignment feels like to me and how I've found it
    • How I'm embracing something that's my "zone of genius"
    • How I plan to use it to help entrepreneurs, coaches, course creators and authors
    • What's changing in my world and what exciting projects are on the horizon

If you are listening to this podcast then congratulations - you've become a Freedom Hunter and I welcome you to the club.

Together we'll continue to explore growth and transformation, entrepreneurship, and how to master technology to support ourselves and our businesses.

Life is a process of growing and evolving and this episode outlines a step I'm taking on my journey and I invite you to join me.

Got questions about tech, entrepreneurship or personal growth?  Send me your questions at https://www.philipwride.com/questions and I'll aim to cover those topics in future episodes.

  • 40. Using email automation to communicate, save time and convert customers

In this episode I share some thoughts on how email automation can be used to support the growth of a business.

After spending years creating automations for billion-dollar brands and unravelling the complexities I'm a big fan of email and how automations can be created for different types of communication.

I also provide some examples of automations you can create for your business from the follow-up after someone gives you their email address to automated flows for surveys and feedback and structured series to help people understand more about you and your business.

Finally I give some thoughts on how email and automations can be set up to help you save time in the long run compared with manual sending, and how they can help you convert customers on autopilot.

  • 38. How focusing on our strengths can lead to earning more and helping more people

Luck, fate, synchronicity - whatever you want to call it we have the ability to stack the odds in our favour and put ourselves in a better position for success.

In this episode I share my thoughts about focusing on our strengths and how they can help us build a bigger and better business, and a bigger and better life. We all have strengths - things that we enjoy doing and that seem quite easy for us or straightforward but that may seem complex or challenging for others.

Life is short and we can waste it on trying to improve our weaknesses like the school system encouraged us to do - or we can double down on our strengths and see where they can take us.

Finally, I also give some examples from my own experience of how people have encouraged me to focus on something that I didn't class as a strength but has since opened doors and new conversations.

  • 37. How to teach anything to anyone using the power of models and frameworks

In this episode I share how models and frameworks have helped make it easier for me to create courses, teach on stage and write my books.

If you're a course creator or coach you know one of the hardest things is knowing what to teach and the best way to teach the material.

Creating models and frameworks makes it easier to be consistent with the teaching and training you deliver regardless of whether that's online, offline, in print or on video because you break everything into parts and go from one part to the next.

I give some examples of the models and frameworks I've created for my books, courses and coaching and a new 4-part teaching/training method I'm introducing for any live events I do.

  • 36. How this lady went from corporate PR to helping women tell their story

In this episode I talk to Jo Swann - the founder of Chocolate PR. Jo spent many years working in corporate PR for large brands but after some soul-searching realised it was no longer what she wanted to do.

During our chat Jo takes me through her transition from corporate PR and the one event that changed everything for her.

She also takes me through the work she does to help female entrepreneurs tell their story to the press and the steps to get someone "press ready". We also talk about becoming comfortable with our own stories and that we don't have to share everything all of the time and Jo gives an example of a client who gradually became more comfortable sharing stories from her past.

Finally, Jo gives some tips and guidance for people who want more visibility for themselves and their business.

In this episode I talk to Carina Harvey, a style and identity coach who relocated to Dubai after a divorce and redundancy.

During our chat Carina shares the struggles she had with her own identity from the divorce and redundancy and the process she went through that helped her realign.
