We each have our own unique stories as we go through life - the things we've done, seen and experienced. In this episode I'm flipping the script by sharing an interview I did with Jeff Bullas for his podcast - The Jeff Bullas Show. Jeff asks about how I got started as an entrepreneur, the highs and lows I've experienced over the years, and why I'm making the switch from an agency model to focusing on creating assets and resources. We also touch on my experience of closing a business, how we can learn from everything we do, and how that has shaped my thinking over the years. Finally, Jeff asks me for my thoughts and tips for anyone started a new "side hustle". -- Looking to find more freedom in your life by freeing up time or creating your own online business?

In this episode I take a quick look at the topic of consistency vs motivation and how a shift in identity can help you achieve more success.
There's talk about the many different hats we wear and how we're constantly changing identities without even realising it whether through sport, religion or our local community.
Then I touch on some recognisable identities in my world including Funnel Hackers and why I'm helping people take on the identity of Freedom Hunter.
Finally, I give some thoughts on ways to adopt a new identity and how that can build your level of consistency. -- Looking to find more freedom in your life by freeing up time or creating your own online business? In this episode I explore the importance of leverage and how it can help you work less and earn more in your business.
After going through the challenge of having 50% of my agency business disappear overnight due to the COVID lockdowns, and the feast and famine of project work, I'm now focused on transitioning my business to have more assets that I can leverage. I'd been aware of what leverage was for a while but it's only in the second half of 2023 that I made the decision to really invest in building my business in a way where my time investment was heavily weighted towards creating assets that I could re-use and have multiple clients or customers use at the same time.
During this episode I outline 5 different business models, how much leverage they provide, and how you can use them if you are just starting to create your own project or business.
I also talk about how the creation of assets, tools and resources can help free up your time if you have an existing business so you can get more done in less time.

In this episode I talk to Daniel Fincham. Daniel and I worked together back in 2012 at a company called Zmags and I knew then he had a few challenges with alcohol. During our chat we talk about how things escalated for Daniel including the breakdown of a relationship, losing his home and twice finding himself in prison. He tells me how sitting in his prison cell gave him clarity about the fear that had been eating him up and how compassion enabled him to start the rebuilding process.
We also touch on recovery, how it's different for everyone, and how even after hitting rockbottom it's still possible to come out the other side.
Finally, Daniel talks about Recoverlution, the recovery community and platform he's launched for addicts, and his upcoming book.

In this episode I explore the use of time. I touch on how we love to complain we don't have time and a conversation where someone commented that people are stingy with their time and attention.
I also talk about using my time to train for 10K races as part of my goal to be in better shape at 40 than I was at 20, and how running is just putting one foot in front of the other.
From there we take a look at compounding and how using our time on activities that compound can give us the best results and help us achieve our goals.
Finally, I comment on how one small step or one small change is the starting point for everything. -- Looking to find more freedom in your life by freeing up time or creating your own online business?
