First some thoughts on Matthew Schaeffer who, despite being limited to just 17 games with the Erie Otters and 2 with Canada's WJC team, has seen his stock RISE to be the #1 ranked player in the draft. Then it's all about the WHL including thoughts on Lynden Lakovic, Roger McQueen, Radim Mrtka, Jackson Smith, Braeden Cootes, Cole Reschny, Blake Fiddler, Ben Kindel and more.

[1:12] - Guy begins the week by going through the top goaltending performances this season in the WHL, OHL, QMJHL, AJHL, BCHL, USHL and NCAA plus the CHL Top 20 and the USCHO Top 20 for NCAA.

[14:53] - He's the top rated goaltender from the Class of 2025 and he's obviously one of the best the Western Hockey League has to offer this year as well. Joshua Ravensbergen is now in his 2nd season with the Prince George Cougars and looks to backstop his club to a league title.

[35:02] - Not that long ago, the Alberta Junior Hockey League let it be known that Cold Lake, AB was a potential candidate for a new franchise in the league. That appears to have gone sideways but why? To make sense of it, or try to, is the voice of the Pontiacs, Michael Menzies.

[1:04:44] - It's a bounce-back year from the QMJHL and one of the reasons for that is 6'2 forward Bill Zonnon of the Rouyn-Noranda Huskies. The Montreal native is tagged as a potential 1st round pick this summer, Zonnon joined me this week in another Draft Spotlight segment.

[35:50] - The 2025 All-American Game was held this week and featured the top NHL draft eligible players from the United States Hockey League and the US-National Team Development Program. I spoke with the President & Commissioner of the USHL, Glenn Hefferan, about the importance of the event for his league, the draft class of 2025, the NCAA rule change and its affect on the USHL and a lot more.
