Aarni was a pioneer in Computer-Aided Drafting (CAD), co-founder of a business software company and a certified management consultant with a background in Architecture. Needless to say, he brings an enormous amount of knowledge on this subject.
    On top of his demanding role at AE Partners, Aarni manages a podcast and blog called AEC Business that tracks emerging technologies and innovations in construction. He has also been hailed a “Top 100” influencer in construction.
    In this episode, we are going to look at the common excuses for not implementing greater technologies in construction. We will be discussing some of the valuable resources out there to learn more about construction technologies. We will then finish up by looking at the future of construction technologies that you might not know about yet.

Mike took over as NSI’s president in 2018 after leading the organization’s planning and development efforts for 12 years. Mike joined NSI in early 2006 after six years with the City of Fort Worth’s Planning Department, where he managed the Comprehensive Planning division.  Mike has served on the Board of Directors for the Fort Worth Transportation Authority (now Trinity Metro) and on the Fort Worth City Plan Commission.
