  • PJP#28 - Envy and Resentment

Well I had a rough go of it last week and this one didn't start off any better. However it was a great lesson and reminder not to hold onto resentment and that is what this week is all about. Along with envy I take a look at different aspects of life these feelings can rot and destroy, as well as where this could lead us personally and as a society.

  • PJP#27 - Intolerant in the name of Tolerance

This week I'm taking a look at different examples of how in the name of "tolerance", society is becoming more intolerant and void of paths to forgiveness and re-integration into society. Despite being scientifically advanced enough to land a rover on Mars we are here arguing over the gender of a plastic potato and trying to mandate the removal of boys and girls toys' sections in department stores.

  • PJP#26 - I Don't Know Sh*t About F*ck

Ruth Langmore from Ozark said it best. This episode is all about the phrase "I don't know" and how it can be one of the best tools to moving forward in your career or personal relationships. Don't get stubborn, don't get your back up, just admit you don't know and try to find someone or something that does.

  • PJP#25 Dustin - Learning to Walk Again and Mental Health Amidst Covid-19

Another great conversation with Dustin. We go over his continual recovery from his life-altering spinal injury and mental health hurdles with the ongoing pandemic. • PJP#24 - Ain't That A Shame/Listener Questions

For shame! This episode is all about the healthy aspects of shame and judgement, and why I don't think it should be demonized the way it is currently. Also got around to answering a couple of frequently asked questions, as well as a new podcast recommendation!

  • PJP#23 - Screw the Dream Job

Want to hear what three scoops of pre-workout and two coffees sounds like? Neither do I but serves me right for leaving this until the last minute. This episode I talk about a topic that frustrates me to no end. People getting stuck in the cycle of "finding the perfect fit" while never applying themselves and sticking out a career opportunity.

  • PJP#22 - Don't Burn Yourself Out

Woop woop another hump day! This week I'm feeling pretty burnt out between studying, work, the podcast, and family life. BUT, we've got to try to keep things in perspective and realize that the added stress and work is also because we're in demand.

  • PJP#21 - Markdhenny

A fun conversation with my buddy Mark, from the podcast "Hey Mark!" We talk about mindsets that will take you far in the trades or whatever field of work you're in - this is specifically important to apprentices. Also we talk about growth through struggle and different times we've messed up on site - sometimes resulting in unexpected outcomes.

  • PJP#20 - Riots

In light of recent events from 2020 and then the rollover into the beginning of 2021, I try to relate personal experience from being caught in the Vancouver riot of 2011. This episode has several quotes from and ideas influenced by the book "Ordinary Men" by Christopher R. Browning.
