The Plumb Line episodes

  • The One with Evangelical Thought Leader Matthew Pierce

In this episode we talk to  Fun Sexy Bible Time co-host Matthew Pierce.  If you're already put off,  that might be for the best... We try - and fail - to find out who he REALLY is and talk  about his obsession with bringing down Christian twitter using the anecdotes and sound advice from his home school and youth pastor respectively. Matthew tells us what  it's like to be a literal Goliath amongst men, humours us by playing a Christian Power Ratings game, reveals that he owns a Christian  version of Monopoly and we discuss which Lord of the Rings character  Beth Moore is most like.

Daniel ultimately passed away and Laura tells us how the mercy of God has gone before her as she has walked the path of grief. Laura's story is such a powerful display of the power a Christian can have in the face of death and we hope you listen and are as moved and encouraged as we were.
