The Pod-Cast

Well, now we all have webcams. And you know what this means! Visual-based segments on an audio only podcast! Join Cameron, Bryan, Abigail, Stephen and Zachary as they each bring a precious item, rich with memory and meaning, to share with one another on this week's new segment! But that's not all! Actually, that's most of the episode. But technically we also do a little bit of other stuff! Like listener mail! And prank calls! It's the best time ever. Show Notes: Our theme music is Earl of July by coda. All other music is from Incompetech. Sound effects (other than the blizzard) are from Freesound.

The Whales are Whales Pod-Cast canonical timeline is getting confusing what with unreleased episodes and skipped weeks, but don't fret your face off-- things are back to normal. Nothing makes more good old fashioned common sense than hair, right? It's pretty basic. Bryan talks about his spiky hair and Stephen talks about his swoopy hair while Billy does not talk about his hair. This pleasantly mundane conversation precedes the wild and wonderful tales of Bryan in Utah, land of Nerdtacular and potentially magic, but definitely not Magic. The WaW also gives listeners the final word on Blizzard's next project, but many other words are spoken as well, including: Well Do And That Lot Your To In

There's a big wheel barrel full of Big News this episode. Let's break out the old list format to properly prepare you, the listener: Zachary at long last married into the Kelly family. Billy got into a fight with a zipper. Spotty Translation, an anime podcast created by Stephen and Zach, is a brand new thing. The secret project from Stephen and Bryan is inches away from a grand unveiling. Zachary got divorced. Look at all that Big News, just look at it, will ya? Look at all that. Big News. Show Notes: Our theme music is Earl of July by coda. All other music is from Incompetech.

Stephen is now a twenty-five-year-old man. In response, the Whales are Whales Pod-Cast cast contemplates mortality, the afterlife, and why it is we value what we do. Stephen would love to visit Ireland before he dies but hesitates at the cost of travel; Cameron argues that letting go of money to live your dreams is the only way to live at all. Billy prefers to think of a body's death as the true beginning, pointing towards technology to keep our consciousness preserved forever. Also stay tuned for fashion tips!

Abigail finally makes her triumphant return this week, mostly to talk about murder and selling dogs on Craigslist, but fear not! Bryan bravely takes on the role of host to guide the conversation in a semi-coherent flow that can only be described as "pretty darn decent". Zachary's newfound addiction to Ebay, Cameron's sobering assessment of capitalism, Billy's sordid Call of Duty past and more are discussed on this week's episode of the Whales are Whales Pod-cast! And I have no idea whether that description made this episode sound appealing or awful. Probably both. Show Notes: Our theme music is Earl of July by coda. All other music is from Incompetech.

Warning: Devious techno-spirits possessed our various electronics this week, corrupting our files (and maybe our souls, uh-oooohhhhhh) to mess with our heads and try to force us into worshiping them as demi-gods. It didn't work, of course, as we are strong-willed dudes. However, the overall quality of the audio suffered, so we do apologize. In this very special 15th of July episode we celebrate Independence Day the only way we know how: recording an audio drama on the spot. Other things occurred as well, such as secret projects never happening, theorizing on the art of sadness, anime/murder, and Comic-Con. It's a barrel full of patriotic fun! Show Notes: Our theme music is Earl of July by coda. All other music is from Incompetech and FreePD. Sound effects are from Freesound. Life, joy, and your very soul are from the techno-spirits who reign in-- NO, NO, BE STRONG
