The Pod People

This week on Zack’s Corner we bring you The Descent (2005)! This is week four of five of our five weeks of horror for Halloween! In this film we see a group of friends on a trip to explore some caves. Although it seems like everything is going to be fun at first, things quickly unravel into true terror as more information is reveled about the cave and what else may be in there with them. Why is there tension between Sarah and Juno? What could be making those noises? Will anybody make it out of this alive? All of these questions and more will be answered right now on Zack’s Corner! This film is a claustrophobic nightmare and we have Joe as our guiding light to help us through! We really hope you enjoy this intense ride as much as we did! For this month's episode we watched Candyman, Zack's pick and one of his all-time favorite movies, this is a movie based on Clive Barker's The Forbidden and features living legend Tony Todd. On this weeks episode we watched Demolition Man, an edge of your seat action movie where Sylvestor Stallone chases Wesley Snipes through space and time 36 years into the future. We find that this future is a false utopia where many of lives pleasures are banned or do not exist such as swearing, sex, meat, and music. This week on Zack’s Corner we watched The Disaster Artist (2017).  This film is a behind the scenes look at the making of The Room (2003) based on the novel The Disaster Artist: My Life Inside The Room, the Greatest Bad Movie Ever Made by Greg Sestero who played Mark. This is a fascinating peek behind the curtain at the madness or genius of Tommy Wiseau depending on how you want to view it. Also, you get a career performance from James Franco who is phenomenal in this movie! Tomas was on hand for this really fun watch. We received a request to watch this by friend of the show Ricky from Nothing But Nostalgia! Please check out his podcast at this link:
