The Pod People

This week on Zack’s Corner we bring you Take Me Home Tonight (2011)! In this film we see recent college graduate Matt Franklin as he tries to woo his high school crush, Tori Frederking, at a Labor Day party. There are great themes of being lost in your twenties and the panic of what to do after college. It’s a lot of fun and it really is something I think most people can relate to. I really think you guys will love this one and I feel more people should see this amazing movie! If you like this episode and want more from The Pod People check us out on Facebook!

This week on Zack’s Corner we bring you The Slumber Party Massacre (1982)! In this film we see escaped convict Russ Thorn terrorize a group of young ladies having a slumber party. It’s a simple concept and a really fun time. If you want a great body count and an interesting killer with a power drill, this is the movie. The 1980s were a simpler time when a movie could be dumb fun and people wouldn’t get in a tizzy. I hope you guys love slashers as much as I do because this is one not to miss for fans of the genre. This week on Zack's Corner we bring you The Strangers: Prey at Night. This is a sequel to the extremely awesome movie The Strangers (2008). In this film we see a family tormented and attacked by three masked assailants seemingly for no reason. It's pretty spooky and violent and it works in a pinch. I hope you enjoy this very low energy review from your half asleep host. If you enjoy this episode or want to hear better ones, please check us out on Facebook!

In this episode we watched Snowpiercer, a movie based on a French graphic novel. It is the end of the world, the Earth has frozen over and is covered in snow, the only people left are on a train that circumnavigates the globe. It is a story of the haves and the have nots as the poor people are crammed in the back, while the upper class along with the decision makers get to enjoy the spacious comfort and luxury of the front cars. Tired of their crammed and powerless positions, the lower class decides to revolt against the upper class to get an equal share of what is theirs.

This movie stars Chris Evans, Tilda Swinton, Ed Harris, and John Hurt

This week we watched Anaconda (1997)! In this film we see a documentary film crew on an expedition down the Amazon to find the Shirishamas tribe. The only problem is there is a rather large snake hunting them along the way. Will the crew find the people of the mist? What are Serone’s true intentions? Will anybody survive? This film stars a lot of awesome people including Jennifer Lopez, Ice Cube, Jon Voight, and Owen Wilson! With me for this journey is Tomas which always makes these shows better. We had so much fun watching this film and we hope you enjoy the review! If you enjoy what we do and would like more great stuff check us out on Facebook!
