On today’s episode I'm talking to PodcastHER community member, Kimberly Amici. Kimberly is the founder of Build Your Best Family, which helps people calm the chaos so they can parent with purpose through her podcasts, courses, and personal coaching.
You are going to absolutely love this conversation with Kim. We talk about podcasting as an extrovert and what Kim has done to not feel so lonely, how she has pivoted her podcast to accommodate her personality. And so much more.
We all know that podcasting can be lonely, lonely work, and this conversation is going to inspire you to take your podcasts and not just make it your own, but to make it work for you by implementing the things that you not only enjoy and want to try.
I can’t wait to hear how this conversation sparked an idea or strategy you are going to try in your podcast.

I'm especially excited about today’s episode because I am bringing you this episode, which is the first of what I hope is many, in a new series where I'm featuring podcasters from my PodcastHER community.
We're going to talk about how they got started in podcasting. How they are growing their show. How they've walked through some of the hard parts of podcasting and more.
And today is the first episode with my guest, Leah Rempel. Leah is the host of the Faith School Podcast, a podcast dedicated to exploring the practical side of faith. And she does it really, really well. She loves to lead women to follow God from the inside out, integrate their faith into their everyday lives and intentionally pursue personal ministries.
She and I talk about how she pivoted her show this last year including a name change and rebrand and the safeguards she’s put in place to ensure she doesn’t burnout.
I can’t wait for you to listen!

Have you ever wondered what time of day is the best to publish your episodes?
Should it be waiting when listeners wake up or maybe should it go live for them to listen around lunch? What about the evening? Should you publish your episode so that it's ready to listen while your listeners are in the car on the way home from work or prepping dinner?
After being asked by podcasters and not really having a concrete answer for them about this question, I decided to conduct an experiment with my own show to determine what time of day is best to publish your podcast. So this episode is the results from that experiment that I conducted. And I think you might just be surprised with what I have to say.

Long gone are the days of willy-nilly podcasting. With over 2 million podcasts on Apple podcasts - there were 170,000 in 2017- what you do matters, especially how you use your prerol,l postroll, and calls to action. And that’s what we are talking about in this episode of The Podcasting Party.
I’m walking you through how to be strategic in each of these areas and how to use them to your advantage.

So in this episode of The Podcasting Party, I really want to talk to you about claiming your power for 2022, making it your year. I think for so many of us, 2020 was the year that shocked us. And if 2020 shocked us, well then, 2021 was the year that exhausted us. I've talked to so many podcasters over the past six months who are burnt out, they're tired, and they're wondering if podcasting and their work is worth it.
And I just wanted to give you some encouragement for the new year if you too are feeling this way.

As I was preparing content and thinking about the end of the year and the beginning of the new year and all the things that go with it, I realized that so often for women we're focused on others and we forget to dream, cast vision, and give ourselves a time and the space to pause and really think about our future.
And so today's episode, I'm changing things up a little bit. I want to guide you through a series of questions that will give you some time and some space to dream big for the new year for your podcast.
