The table-flipping Jesus we see in the biography of Jesus' life we call the gospel of John, is one that many people point to when they are, let's just say, being a bit unkind. But what got Jesus so upset the day he walked into the temple and saw his Father's house turned into a marketplace? What turned a kind and gentle man into a whip-bearing, table-flipping, house-clearing one? One word: heartbreak.  

Titles are important and in today's passage Jesus is given an extremely powerful one; Lamb of God. Stephen, one of our pastors, leads us through the history of this phrase and why it is central to the gospel, or good news of Jesus. Beyond even the claim of Jesus being the lamb of God the author tells us of a powerful invitation that Jesus offered His followers and extends to us today; come and see.

In today's message, Stephen introduces us to the biography of Jesus' life we call the gospel of John. This book was written for a very specific purpose, that all those who would read it would believe that Jesus of Nazareth is the Messiah, the Son of God, and that by believing in Him you would have life in His name.
