If North Carolina fans expected the 2025 portion of this season to be any different than the end of last year’s part, the Tar Heel collapse over the final five minutes in Louisville provided a stark and bleak look at where this team is heading without a major course correction. The Heels clawed back to trail 70-69, but freshman Drake Powell fouled out and the Cards ran away on a 13-1 run to win 83-70.
