Old school ACC Tournament basketball showed up Thursday afternoon in Charlotte as North Carolina managed to emerge from a second half ice-cold shooting stretch just in time to beat Wake Forest 68-59. RJ Davis led the Heels with an efficient 23 points and Ven-Allen Lubin’s follow slam and timely block helped end the Deacons’ hope.
