It’s a long one, but in my defence there’s a lot of developments to share.
This episode from November 2019, brings you up to date on my couple of weeks back in the UK.
I reflect on how it felt to return to the UK in November 🥶🥶and all of the nearly disasters that continually threatened to disrupt all my plans.
Mid episode, I develop a (it turned out, highly effective) plan to stop myself worrying.
I update you on how my 13 year old Corgi managed the transition from wintery UK to tropical Saint Lucia.
Oh, and you finally find out how I ended up with a convertible car 😁
As always please feel free to share 😉
For the thirteenth episode, we’re still in October 2019 and I’m nearing the end of my mini trip to Saint Lucia. This episode contains a disappointing update on the Great Saint Lucia Land search and some really poorly recorded church footage. 😳 if you can bear the low quality of the recording it’s interesting, I promise 😁
This is the steel drum guy on TikTok
I also share my thoughts on the Capital City, Castries.
As always please feel free to share 😉
It‘s October 2019, I’m in the middle of my first trip to Saint Lucia and I’m trying to get some land bought before I return to the UK for the wedding.
I managed to find some land, but then I needed a lawyer.
Oh and then I ponder on the experience of making the podcast itself.
As always please feel free to share 😉
After a quick recap, I bring you up to date with the Great Saint Lucian Land Search in October 2019.
Keep an ear out for me freaking out about a massive dragonfly that divebombed me. At this point in my Saint Lucia journey, all the little creatures freaked me out. 😁
I have a bit of a moan and I explain the Dasheen Controversy
Enjoy!
As always feel free to share to someone who may enjoy it
Again, apologies for the daily podcasts, I’m trying to keep the Being Brave eps as close together as I can.
Anyway, where were we?
Ah yes, in October 2019, I had a month to get a few things organised before returning to the UK to collect the dog and attend my niece’s wedding.
One of those things was to buy some land…
Welcome to the first part of the great, Saint Lucia Land Search…

Of course, life on a tropical island is never smooth sailing and when I use the term ‘problems’, now, as way back in October 2019, I understand it is a
relative term, used very loosely to describe what I was experiencing
So, please feel free to consider me a moaning moaner and let us all move on.
This was my first experience of a tropical storm and what happens after

So, it’s October 2019, and I’ve just landed in Saint Lucia.
I’m immediately struck by two things;
* The heat
* The noises
So of course the first thing I did was make a podcast, doesn’t everyone? 😁
Feel free to share 😉
So there I am, house sold, tickets to Saint Lucia booked, what on earth do I have to complain about?
Listen to me give myself a good talking to.
First Broadcast in September 2019

Obviously, I didn’t have time to record anything on moving day itself, so once the dust settled, in Sept 2019, I sat down for an update 😁
