The Potscast

This week, I’ve engaged in avoidance pottery. Trying to pretend my building’s future isn’t being decided as this goes out…👀

So instead of news, I bring you this week’s deliberate design choice - Coloured Slip Shmushing!

Enjoy!

I know I’ve neglected you…apologies

So it’s been a week of emotional ups and downs for me. On Wednesday, I was 100% set on deleting all my social media and closing down the podcast.

This episode is proof that I pulled myself together and got some pottery made 😁

Have a great week everyone.

So this week was all about the media, I went live on TikTok on Monday to receive delivery of frozen Greggs pastries. Then, I spent the rest of the day, answering comments and thanking people.

On Tuesday, I was visited by the wonderful Mareen Alexander, host of DBS This Morning, here in Saint Lucia.

I even spoke to a photographer from the Saint Lucia Times, who kind of disappeared never to be heard from again 😳🤣🤣

She was so much fun to chat with, I like this TV lark, so far 😁

So, I thought I’d bring you a summary of this week in TikTok madness.

Remember Pottery Retreats are still available. I opened an offer for my old Clay studio members, but I thought I should make you the offer too. So, if you have a pottery friend…

Have a great week!

Balcony Ponderings

So, I was feeling a teeny bit down, so I thought to myself, you know what cheered me up last year? That whole Greggs Sausage & bean melt thing.

Then I thought, there’s no way I could get TikTok to bring me another pastry, could I?

Everyone knows you can’t recreate a viral moment…

Well…

So meetings were moved, things adapted and the episode I wanted to make evaporated into empty air.

So this week is an homage to Meghan, who, after watching her Netflix show, I believe is a genuinely nice person. I’d obviously seen all the reaction so I was expecting her to be fake and a poor presenter. She is the exact opposite, I thought she was interesting and informative. There’s already a couple of things I want to try… Anyhoo…

Have a great week everyone.

It’s more of a philosophical one this week and of course I’m talking inner peace not world peace, I’m not mad 😁

In this episode I hope I have given you some useful advice and a thought to ponder…

Life on the island is ticking by and I, for one, am appreciative of the simple, mundane nature of island life.

Have a peaceful week 😉
