The Potter Virgin

We made it to episode 25! On this episode we recap chapter 8 of Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, The Death Day Party. We discuss how we actually feel a bit sorry for Filch, what magic spells we would want to be able to do, why do the ghosts play bad music, and are all ghosts murdered?

Hello! Welcome to chapter 7 of Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, Mudbloods and Murmurs.

In this episode we talk about how weird Hogwarts is about their detentions, how annoying it is that no one at Hogwarts helps Ron with his wand situation, and lots of banter between Cassy and Theresa about how the wizarding world doesn't make sense.

Send in your questions for Stump the Experienced Potter to try and stump Cassy. Just make sure they aren't a spoiler for Theresa.

In this episode we recap chapter 6 of Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, Gilderoy Lockhart.

We discuss numerous characters that we think are queer, Gilderoy Lockhart being obnoxious, the failings of Hogwarts, and was it really okay that Mrs. Weasley sent a howler? We also read an amazing email from our youngest listener and discuss a failing of mine from a previous episode. Then we start a new segment Stupid the Experienced Potter where you can email us trivia questions to try and stump Cassy. Just make sure they aren't a spoiler for Theresa.

We discuss a lot of fun things and ideas in this episode. Where does all the Weasleys money go? What does Lucius Malfoy do with the poisons he has? Does Hogwarts charge tuition for kids to go to school? And there is so much more we talk about. This is probably one of the best, most random episodes we've done so far.

Hello! On this episode we are recapping Chapter 3 of Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, The Burrow.

Theresa definitely points out things that Cassy has not paid attention to in the details of the book. We also discuss the relationship between Molly and Arthur, do wizard kids believe in Santa, and what is a gnome.
