There's a lot of great episodes of Potterhood but this one captures a conversation that is happening is some variation all across the country (but probably with less Harry Potter). Also we recorded like four days before the Red Table Talk that broke the internet dropped and we totally called it. It almost doesn't make sense that we hit on both of these in the same episode.

This episode was like a train that is fully off the rails yet still impossibly is going in the right direction. Did we talk about Harry Potter? Yes. Did we social distance? Yes. Were we sober? Of course not but you can't really hold it against us when we are churning out great Harry Potter podcasts mid-apocalypse.

The Longest Harry Potter Podcast in Human History: Neko and Will are joined by friend and comedian Lev Fer from the Young Daddy Podcast a really funny episode with a great Neville debate! Also, we really delve deep into the protests in New York and the movement going on nationally (and internationally). It gets real at times but no matter how passionate we get about the issues we still make sure to express all of our points through Harry Potter metaphors and similes. Cuz that's how good these books are that you can basically use them as a road map for any time you need to sort through your feelings on some real shit. For example, De Blasio is having his Cedric Diggory moment with the NYPD right now. You got a big decision to make fella, don't fudge it up (pun intended). Also, this episode was recorded before all of the "media outrage" around a JK Rowling tweet (while the world burns). We don't address the tweet here (cuz it hadn't happened yet), but we're gonna (and it'll probably too nuanced and everyone will be mad at us).

Neko and Will are joined by friend and comedian Phil from Chico as well as cool listener Jazmyn from Phoenix. The result is beautiful chaos. We finally discuss the elephant in the room of all sunken ships: Harry/Draco. We also have a really great discussion about what an underrated character Tonks is. Great episode for Tonks. Carly Aquilino, the hilarious stand up comedian who also if you turn on MTV right now she's probably on the screen, joins the show fresh off of watching the first two Harry Potter movies for the first time. This was her first exposure to Harry Potter and she answers whether it lives up to the hype. We talk about whether she thinks Snape will turn out to be good or evil, and she predicts whether it will be Harry or Ron that ends up with Hermione. We've never had someone on before who was unaware of how the story was going to end and it opened the door for some really cool discussions. Also Neko gives an intro for the ages.

Mia Jackson (Inside Amy Schumer, Comedy Central Presents) returns to the podcast to help us celebrate our one year anniversary! Despite the fact that the world has been turned upside down by corona virus, Mia still hates Ron Weasley and we talk about the prospect of Harry ending up with Hermione. We also play the what if game with the question what if Harry was put in Slytherin. And we rank the pets of Hogwarts and you know toads are in last place with that.

The Potterhood is back. With Snuffy! Who's Snuffy? He is 1 of the best tattoo artists in NY and he has tattooed MGK and others. He also loves HP! We ask him about the best Harry Potter tattoo he's ever seen. We actually talk a whole bunch about Rita Skeeter and play duel or die with some magical creatures (is it Michael Vick adjacent... no because these are fictional creatures and also Michael Vick has paid his debt to society and anybody who is still mad at Michael Vick with all that is going on in the world can go take a hike (in my humble opinion)
