Welcome to this special episode of The Pouch. Today, you get to be a fly on the wall as two friends sit down to record themselves as they have a genuine conversation about what they think the Black Lives Matter movement means for Australia.
From the get-go, this podcast has always been about documenting mine Jake’s journey to delve deeper into the important matters happening in our country and it doesn’t get much deeper than the inequalities experienced by many Indigenous Australians.
It’s very possible that the conclusions we reach in this episode are incorrect, or, at the very least, need a certain level tweaking. However, we are open to understanding different perspectives and changing our mind as a result.
Therefore, if you listen to this discussion and would like to reach out, we encourage you to do so by contacting us at [email protected] or searching for The Pouch The Podcast on the main social media platforms.
We hope you get something out of hearing this discussion, if for no other reason than the fact that, sometimes, it is tremendously nerve-wracking to put these discussions in the public sphere for consumption, critique and feedback…
But, let’s keep the conversations going, let’s keep it peaceful and let’s keep it filled with hope.
