The Power of Choice - Where Faith Meets Real Life

In this life we're going to go thru some things.  But we can and will always rise above any situation.  We don't have to stay in Lodabar, a place of loneliness or defeat.  Yes we are heirs and joint heirs with Jesus Christ.  the Bible says we are kings and priests, not because of who we are but because of Who God is and who we are in relationship to Him.  Just know "You're Coming Out."

There comes a point in life when time runs out for playing games. The stakes are too high, and the call to live with intention becomes impossible to ignore. We’re no longer satisfied with drifting — we know it’s time to make wise, grounded decisions that shape our future.

At the heart of it all is one essential truth: knowing who God is changes everything. It shapes the way we see the world, how we treat others, and how we show love — not just to those around us, but to ourselves.  God is love. He is peace in chaos, strength in weakness, healing in brokenness — everything we need, exactly when we need it.  

So today, let’s take a deeper look into this vital question: Who is God?

The choices we make in our daily lives have immense power.  Choices can take us where we want to go and choices can take us where we don't want to go.  The good thing is we get to make our own choices.  So, let's always make choices that serve our life objectives.  

We talk about how "Timing is Everything," it's not just a theme, but a reality.  We talk about how it is important for us to hold fast to our faith and what we are believing in, believing for and working towards in life.  Waiting can be hard, nevertheless, the end result can really be something special, something so wonderful and beautiful that it far exceeds your expectations.

Many times people are tempted to be judgmental about other people, but that's not how we grow.  Real growth doesn't come from criticizing others - it comes from challenging one's self.  So, let's not confuse oise with wisdom.  We are better than that.

There will certainly come a time in life where you will have to deal with difficult situations. Storms are inevitable, but how we face them makes all the difference. Belief and perspective can act like wings, lifting us above the turbulence. Just like the sun never stops shining above the clouds, peace and clarity are always there, even if we can't see them right away. 

We all can start with the knowledge that it's up to each of us individually and collectively to do our very best on a daily basis to be the light we want to see in the world.  This simply means treating people the way we want to be treated and acknowledging the truth of our own choices by  choosing to do better today than we did on yesterday. 

We cannot control other people.  People are going to do what they do and be who they are.  The good news is we can control how we respond to other people's behavior.  We have the power to choose what we will and will not allow in our lives.

Like earthly relationships, a relationship with God involves love, trust, and commitment. God is perfect, unlike humans, God's love is everlasting.  God's trust is unbreakable, and God's commitment is eternal.  

Talking about Love:  A complex and multifaceted emotion that can mean different things to different people. At its core, love is an intense feeling of affection, care, and attachment toward someone or something. Love can inspire joy, connection, and growth, but it can also bring challenges, vulnerability, and sometimes pain. It's a fundamental human experience, central to our relationships and understanding of the world.
