TITLE: 23-053 GOD'S PLAN FOR US

VERSE: Jesus took them through the writings of Moses and all the prophets, explaining from all the Scriptures the things concerning himself. LUKE 24:27

Welcome to today's episode of "THE POWER OF GODS WHISPER", a podcast dedicated to understanding the many ways in which God speaks to us and guides us in our daily lives. We will be discussing the importance of recognizing the impressions of the Holy Spirit and how it can be a powerful way that God speaks to us.

Dear Warriors, let us turn our attention to the holy Scriptures and to the One who reveals their true meaning. In Luke 24:27, we read about Jesus leading His disciples on a journey through the Scriptures, pointing out how everything in them pointed to Him. He explained how the prophets of old had foretold His coming, and how the words of Moses had prepared the way for His ministry.

The disciples were amazed by what they heard. They were not familiar with the way that Jesus was interpreting the Scriptures. The plain meaning of the text had not been all that plain to them, until Jesus opened their eyes. And so it is with us. We need the Spirit of God to help us understand the true meaning of the Scriptures. We cannot rely solely on our own intellect or human wisdom to interpret the Word of God.

It is true that some parts of Scripture are very clear and straightforward. God's plan of salvation, for example, is spelled out in simple terms. But there are also deeper truths, hidden beneath the surface, waiting to be discovered. As we read the Bible, we should always be open to the possibility that God is speaking to us in ways we may not immediately understand. His voice is able to express infinite truths in a finite number of words. He can creatively apply His words to a variety of situations at one time.

The four approaches to interpreting Scripture that our Lord used – (1) a literal, surface meaning; (2) a deeper meaning often found in hints and nuances of words; (3) a metaphorical or allegorical meaning taken from symbolism in a passage; and (4) a hidden, subjective, mystical interpretation – are all valid ways of hearing the voice of God. We should not limit ourselves to just one approach. Instead, we should ask the Holy Spirit to guide us as we read and study the Bible. He will help us understand the plain meaning of the text, as well as the deeper layers of meaning that lie beneath the surface.

So let us read the Scriptures with an open heart and a listening ear, asking God to reveal the truth to us. Let us not be satisfied with a superficial understanding of God's Word, but let us seek to know Him more deeply through His Word. As we do, may the Spirit of God lead us into all truth, and may we be transformed by the renewing of our minds. Amen.

We hope that this message has encouraged you to be open to the unique ways in which God speaks to you and to share those insights with others in humility and love. Remember, God speaks to us in many ways and it's important that we pay attention to the impressions of the Holy Spirit and act on them. Join us next time as we continue to explore the many ways in which God guides us on our journey of faith. Thank you for tuning in to today's episode of "THE POWER OF GODS WHISPER"

TITLE: 23-052 HOW IT'S SUPPOSED TO WORK

VERSE: You must commit yourselves wholeheartedly to these commands that I am giving you today. DEUTERONOMY 6:6

Hey Warrior...We often view the Bible as an instruction manual that we read and follow step by step. However, reducing God's voice to a reading list or a long-distance letter is not what He intended for our relationship with Him. God is relational, and He wants our hearts to be fully engaged in our communication with Him.

In Deuteronomy 6:6, we read, "You must commit yourselves wholeheartedly to these commands that I am giving you today." Yes, God has given us commands, and we are to follow them, but we must remember that most of our relationship with Him goes much deeper than that. It isn't enough to merely follow instructions; we need to engage our hearts in our communication with Him.

Scripture is an entryway into a conversation with God, not the sum total of our communication with Him. We need to hear His instructions and follow His commands, but we also need to let our relationship with Him go much deeper. We must seek to hear His voice in our hearts, even beyond the words on the page.

We can receive God's guidance and encouragement for specific situations or seasons when we listen with an open spirit, ready to hear. Psalm 16:7 tells us that we can hear God's voice during the night, and Isaiah 30:21 says that we can hear a voice speaking into our ears. God's voice can come to us in many ways, and we must be open to receiving it.

It's also essential to remember that reading and knowing the Word thoroughly doesn't necessarily mean that we know God. Jesus himself tells the religious leaders in John 5:37-39 that, despite knowing the Scriptures, they had never heard God's voice. We must not let the Bible be reduced to a spiritual to-do list. Instead, we should let it launch us into God's presence and seek to hear His voice in our hearts.

In conclusion, let us commit ourselves wholeheartedly to God's commands and seek to hear His voice beyond the words on the page. Let us remember that our relationship with God is not simply following instructions but engaging our hearts in conversation with Him. May we listen with open spirits and seek His voice in every situation, knowing that our Father in heaven is always speaking to us.

Let's Pray. Lord, I understand that reading the Word and hearing Your voice is not the same thing. Please help me to hear Your voice in the Word and to use Scripture as the beginning of a conversation with You, rather than as the conversation itself. Amen

We hope that this message has encouraged you to be open to the unique ways in which God speaks to you and to share those insights with others in humility and love. • 23-051 WORDS COME ALIVE

    TITLE: 23-051 WORDS COME ALIVE

VERSE: Your word is a lamp to guide my feet and a light for my path. PSALM 119:105

Dear warriors, We gather today to talk about one of the most essential aspects of our faith: hearing God's voice. Our passage for today comes from Psalm 119:105, which says, "Your word is a lamp to guide my feet and a light for my path."

God's Word is not just a collection of ancient stories and teachings, but it is a living document that has the power to speak directly to our hearts and guide us through the challenges of life. When we read the Bible with an open spirit and a heart that is ready to hear, God will highlight certain verses or passages that speak directly to our current situation.

Sometimes, as we read or listen to God's Word, a certain verse or passage will suddenly come alive, as if it were printed in neon lights. This can be a powerful experience that speaks directly to our souls and illuminates our path forward. The Holy Spirit will often illumine His thoughts and engage us in a specific conversation through the words of the Bible.

It is important to remember that hearing God's voice is not limited to reading the Bible. However, it is futile to try to hear God on a regular basis outside of Scripture, without also listening for Him within it. The Bible is where God has already spoken perfectly, revealing His general, eternal purposes and His ways with His people. The words that were inspired long ago still resound as we read or listen to them now.

But, we must also remember that hearing God's voice requires an open heart and a willingness to listen. We must ask for His guidance and be willing to follow His lead, even if it is not what we initially had in mind. It is through this process of reading, listening, and obeying that we can hear the voice of the living God.

In conclusion, let us remember the words of Psalm 119:105, "Your word is a lamp to guide my feet and a light for my path." The Bible has the power to speak directly to our hearts and guide us through life's challenges. As we read and listen to God's Word with an open heart and a willingness to follow, we can hear His voice and find direction for our lives. May we all seek to hear and follow His voice, so that we may live lives that honor and glorify Him.

Let us pray. Dear God, we thank you for your Word and for the guidance and direction that it provides. Help us to listen with an open heart and a willingness to follow, so that we may hear your voice and find direction for our lives. We pray this in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

We hope that this message has encouraged you to be open to the unique ways in which God speaks to you and to share those insights with others in humility and love. Remember, God speaks to us in many ways and it's important that we pay attention to the impressions of the Holy Spirit and act on them. • 23-050 FROM THE HEART OF GOD

TITLE: 23-050 FROM THE HEART OF GOD

VERSE: Do not be afraid, for I have ransomed you. I have called you by name; you are mine. ISAIAH 43:1

This is a loving message from God to all those who listen.

My child...I understand that life can be scary at times and that fear can often take hold. But I want you to know that I am here for you, always. I want your heart to trust in Me completely so that in moments of crisis, your first thought is not of fear, but of My love and protection. Your spiritual reflex should lead you to a place of peace, not worry. I have never left your side, and I never will.

You see, I have invested so much in our relationship. I have redeemed you at great cost to Myself, and it was all worth it. I have called you by name and know you intimately, from beginning to end. I saw the end of your story before it even started and chose you anyway because I love you. And that's why I can tell you with confidence, there's nothing to fear.

When I soothe your worries and remind you that I am here, you have a choice. You can either stay stressed and worried, or you can believe in Me and find peace. So many people choose to hold onto their fears, but that's such a waste of energy. Remember our bond, remember that I don't make empty promises. When I say "Do not be afraid," it's because I know you have nothing to fear, my child.

    LET'S PRAY...

Lord, stress is a natural instinct for me, but I want my heart to intuitively rest in You. Fill me with trust in You and peace in Your purposes at the sound of Your voice.

We hope that this message has encouraged you to be open to the unique ways in which God speaks to you and to share those insights with others in humility and love. Remember, God speaks to us in many ways and it's important that we pay attention to the impressions of the Holy Spirit and act on them. • 23-049 A VERY VOCAL GOD

TITLE: 23-049 A VERY VOCAL GOD

VERSE: All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right. 2 TIMOTHY 3:16

Greetings, Warriors! Today, we're talking about hearing God's whisper, and how His Word can guide us in our daily lives. As 2 Timothy 3:16 reminds us, "All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right."

We serve a very vocal God. The world cannot contain all the words He has spoken, but we do have a record of many of them. The Bible is the written account of His words, the only authoritative source of doctrine and expression of His overall will. In it, God tells us what He is like, what His purposes are, and how we can relate to Him. He has uttered many words that weren’t written in Scripture  —references to prophets who spoke for Him but never wrote anything are enough to convince us of that  —but what is written is reliable. In our search for His voice, the Bible is our primary source.

We have to learn how to interpret God’s Word, however. At times, He is quoted directly. At other times, writers describe Him or tell stories about encounters people had with Him. The Bible is always true in reporting what people said or believed, but not everything they said or believed is true. For example, Job’s friends had a lot to say about God and His ways, and the book of Job records their arguments accurately. Some of what they said was true, but much of it wasn’t or was wrongly applied. The reader is left to discern when the person being quoted is reliable and when he or she isn’t. It isn’t always clear. We have to ask the Spirit to help us with the interpretation.

That means that even when we’re reading the inspired Word of God, we still have to listen for God’s voice. Many are attracted to the “objectivity” of reading the written Word, but centuries of differing opinions and misguided interpretations should be enough to convince us that our objectivity isn’t very objective. We need God’s help to hear His voice in His Word. When we read, we must open our ears to hear.

    LET'S PRAY...

Lord, give me understanding. Enliven Your Word and let it sink deeply into my heart.

We hope that this message has encouraged you to be open to the unique ways in which God speaks to you and to share those insights with others in humility and love. • 23-048 TAKE UP AND READ

TITLE: 23-048 TAKE UP AND READ

VERSE: Such things were written in the Scriptures long ago to teach us. ROMANS 15:4

Greetings, fellow Warriors, and welcome to today’s podcast about hearing God's Whisper. The Bible tells us in Romans 15:4 that "Such things were written in the Scriptures long ago to teach us." And indeed, God's word has the power to teach us and guide us throughout our lives.

Augustine's story is a powerful example of how the Word of God can speak to us in a personal and impactful way. Augustine was searching for truth and struggling with the choices he had made in his life. But in a moment of desperation, he heard a voice telling him to "Take up and read." He opened a book of Paul's letters and read the words, "Let us walk properly, as in the day, not in revelry and drunkenness...But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, to fulfill its lusts." Those words spoke directly to Augustine's heart and illuminated the path he needed to take.

This is a reminder that God speaks to us through His Word, and when a verse or phrase jumps out at us, it is the Spirit of God illuminating and applying His thoughts to our situation. It's the voice of God, the living Word, speaking directly to our hearts. So make sure to read God's Word every day and learn at every level of your heart and mind. You never know when the Rhema, the word of the moment, will come alive for you.

    LET'S PRAY...

Holy Spirit, I want You to speak to me like that. I love Your Word, but I need it personalized. Pour it directly into my heart like a spiritual injection of truth. Highlight what I need to hear.

We hope that this message has encouraged you to be open to the unique ways in which God speaks to you and to share those insights with others in humility and love. Remember, God speaks to us in many ways and it's important that we pay attention to the impressions of the Holy Spirit and act on them. • EPISODE 23-047

    TITLE: 23-47 WRITE IT DOWN

VERSE: The LORD said to me, “Write my answer plainly on tablets.” HABAKKUK 2:2

Welcome to today's episode of "THE POWER OF GODS WHISPER", a podcast dedicated to understanding the many ways in which God speaks to us and guides us in our daily lives. We will be discussing the importance of recognizing the impressions of the Holy Spirit and how it can be a powerful way that God speaks to us.

Greetings, Warriors, and welcome to today's podcast about hearing God's whisper.

In Habakkuk 2:2, we read that the Lord told Habakkuk to write down his answer plainly on tablets. The same was true for other prophets such as Isaiah, Moses, and John. God wanted His words recorded with clarity and permanence, so they wouldn't be forgotten or altered over time.

Friends, just like the biblical prophets, we too can benefit from writing down what God speaks to us. Keeping a journal of God's messages to us can help us remember and share His words with others. Although we may not be writing scripture, it's still important to keep track of what God has told us over time. By looking back at our journal, we can see if we're following His instructions and remembering the lessons He has taught us.

Casual listeners may not remember what they hear a week later, but attentive listeners are diligent about applying God's words to their lives. Just as a couple keeps old love letters as a celebration of their relationship, we too can celebrate our relationship with God by preserving what He has told us.

We can't afford to let God's words go unapplied. He speaks to us for the purpose of changing our lives. The best way to honor His voice is to respond and change according to what He says. And the best way to do that is by writing down what He has told us and clinging to it over time. By doing this, we can see how our relationship with God has grown, how He has invested in us, and how His direction builds on what He has told us in the past.

So today, my friends, let's take heed of God's whisper and write down His words, so that we may honor His voice and see our lives transformed.

    LET'S PRAY...

Lord, journaling may never have been my forte, but Your words are too valuable for me to forget them. Help me to write them down accurately, and remind me to review them frequently. Teach me to treasure Your voice.

  • 23-046 LIKE A SOOTHING BALM

TITLE: 23-046 LIKE A SOOTHING BALM

VERSE: One who prophesies strengthens others, encourages them, and comforts them. 1 CORINTHIANS 14:3

Greetings, Warriors! Today, we're talking about hearing God's whisper and how it can strengthen, encourage, and comfort us. As Paul says in 1 Corinthians 14:3, "One who prophesies strengthens others, encourages them, and comforts them."

Many of us think of God as an angry or demanding figure, and when we receive a prophetic message, we might assume it's a list of commands or corrections. However, Paul reminds us that the gift of prophecy should build us up, heal our wounds, and bring us hope and comfort.

God's voice is like a soothing balm, not a battering ram. He disciplines us as a loving father, but His discipline always comes with encouragement and comfort. Prophetic words should never provoke guilt, fuel fear, or expose our sins to others. Instead, they should strengthen, encourage, and comfort us.

When we speak God's heart to others, our words should be seasoned with these gentle and affirming tones. If we hear or speak words that don't have this flavor, they're not from God. The condemning or fearful words we sometimes hear in our minds are also not from Him. Why? Because God speaks life to us, not death. Whatever He says to us will always be strengthening, encouraging, and comforting.

So let's strive to listen for God's gentle whispers, and to speak His heart to others with love and encouragement. May His words bring us strength, comfort, and hope in all things.
