  • 23-036 FROM THE HEART OF GOD

TITLE: 23-036 FROM THE HEART OF GOD

VERSE: I am the LORD who heals you. EXODUS 15:26

Welcome to today's episode of "THE POWER OF GODS WHISPER", a podcast dedicated to understanding the many ways in which God speaks to us and guides us in our daily lives. Today, we will be discussing the importance of recognizing the impressions of the Holy Spirit and how it can be a powerful way that God speaks to us.

This is a loving message from God to all those who listen.

“Sometimes when I speak to you, I tell you the side of My nature you will soon need to experience. I’m not trying to alarm you when I do this; there is an important spiritual truth at work. You need to know who I am going to be for you, so you can appeal to Me in faith when the need comes.

“Do you understand? I respond to you based on your prayers of faith. But you will not pray those prayers  —or you will pray them in desperation rather than in confident faith  —if I haven’t assured you of who I am. You may be surprised when I tell you I’m your Healer, Provider, Comforter, Deliverer, Promise-keeper, Guide, or anything else, especially if you hear those assurances in times when you aren’t in need of them. But a time will come when you will need to appeal to Me based on what you already know of My character. And you will need to know who I am on your behalf, and you will be glad for the words of promise.

“Don’t be afraid when I tell you that I’m your Healer. I am simply strengthening your faith before you need to exercise it in that area. Don’t be afraid when I tell you I’m your Provider, your Deliverer, or your Comforter. It doesn’t mean that lack, captivity, or grief are just around the corner. But you already know what life in this world is like. You know you will find yourself in times of deep need. And when you do, I don’t want you to call to Me tentatively or in hopeless desperation. I want you to anchor your hope and faith in who I am. That’s why I tell you who I am now. Embrace My nature and learn to depend on every side of Me that I choose to reveal to you.”

    LET'S PRAY...

Lord, I do need You  —often. I need to be able to call to You without wondering if You’ll come through for me. Please develop my confidence in Your nature. Fill me now with the certain knowledge of who You are.

In conclusion, we hope that this message has encouraged you to be open to the unique ways in which God speaks to you and to share those insights with others in humility and love. Remember, God speaks to us in many ways and it's important that we pay attention to the impressions of the Holy Spirit and act on them. • 23-035 A REAL CONUNDRUM

    TITLE: 23-035 A REAL CONUNDRUM

VERSE: His father and mother didn’t realize the LORD was at work in this, creating an opportunity to work against the Philistines, who ruled over Israel at that time. JUDGES 14:4

Hello Warriors and welcome to today’s podcast, where we dive into the depths of God's Word and explore the mysterious and loving ways in which He leads us. Today, we're going to be discussing the conundrum of when God's guidance seems to contradict what He has previously revealed in the Bible.

We've all heard the saying that "God will never lead you in any way that contradicts what He has revealed in His Word." But what do we do when we come across passages in Scripture that seem to defy this statement?

For example, in Deuteronomy 7:3 and Joshua 23:12-13, God commands His people not to marry the women of the land, yet in the story of Samson, his parents protest his decision to marry a Philistine woman, yet it is revealed that God was in this decision.

Comparably, in Proverbs, there are strong prohibitions against going near a prostitute, yet God leads Hosea to marry one. And even though the law had not yet been given, God has always loathed child sacrifice, yet He commands Abraham to sacrifice his son, Isaac.

It's important to remember that God is not limited by our understanding of His nature and principles. He desires a personal relationship with us, and He speaks to us in ways that stretch and challenges us, leading us to a deeper heart connection with Him. It's important for us to remember that God does not contradict himself and that we should not define his nature too narrowly and reduce it to rules He himself has given.

So let's not be too quick to question and doubt when we're faced with situations that seem to defy our understanding of God's will. Let's have faith and trust in the loving and mysterious ways in which He leads us. And let's pray for the grace to hear God's voice as a living, dynamic reality in our lives, and for the courage to trust in His ways, even when they may be difficult to understand.

    Let’s Pray…

Father, I want that  —to be face to face with You, really hearing Your voice and not just reasoning on my own. Please lead me in Your ways.

In conclusion, we hope that this message has encouraged you to be open to the unique ways in which God speaks to you and to share those insights with others in humility and love. Remember, God speaks to us in many ways and it's important that we pay attention to the impressions of the Holy Spirit and act on them. • 23-034 AN UNUSUAL OCCURRENCE

    TITLE: 23-034 AN UNUSUAL OCCURRENCE

VERSE: As [Saul] was approaching Damascus on this mission, a light from heaven suddenly shone down around him. He fell to the ground and heard a voice. ACTS 9:3-4

Hello Warrior, welcome to today’s podcast. Today, we're going to be talking about the power of spiritual encounters. The story we'll be sharing with you is about a young man who was a devout, lifelong Muslim, the young man had always been certain of his faith. But as he grew older, he began to feel a sense of emptiness, as if there was something missing. He prayed to God, asking for guidance and the truth. Not long after, a bright light in the form of a man appeared to him in his room. The light spoke, identifying itself as Jesus, and the young man's life was forever changed.

This type of spiritual encounter is not uncommon in the Middle East, or even in other parts of the world. Jesus does not discriminate, and He chooses to reveal himself to people in various ways. Some see Him in dreams, others in visions during prayer, and some even see Him in tangible form during their daily activities. Though not everyone who seeks Him will have this type of experience, for those who do, their lives are forever transformed.

Saul, also known as Paul, had a powerful encounter with Jesus on the road to Damascus. He later wrote that more than 500 people had seen the resurrected Jesus before His ascension. Throughout history, many people have shared similar experiences, and their lives have been changed as a result. An encounter with Jesus can turn anyone into a passionate and committed believer, willing to do whatever it takes to glorify Him. Jesus is willing to step into our lives in powerful ways and change us forever.

    Let's pray:

Jesus, reveal yourself to even more people. Captivate the hearts of seekers everywhere, regardless of their faith. Come into this world whenever and however you choose. Let us see your glory.

In conclusion, we hope that this message has encouraged you to be open to the unique ways in which God speaks to you and to share those insights with others in humility and love. Remember, God speaks to us in many ways and it's important that we pay attention to the impressions of the Holy Spirit and act on them. • 23-033 THE NEXT STEP

    TITLE: 23-033 THE NEXT STEP

VERSE: Now our knowledge is partial and incomplete, and even the gift of prophecy reveals only part of the whole picture! 1 CORINTHIANS 13:9

Hey there Warrior! Welcome to today's podcast. Today we're going to talk about a topic that many of us have likely struggled with at some point in our faith journey - why God reveals only a part of His plan to us.

It's easy to think that anyone who claims to hear God's voice is claiming omniscience, but that's not the case. God only reveals what He wants us to know, and often that's a very incomplete picture that still requires faith. He unveils the next step, the encouragement we need at the moment, or the information necessary for the next decision; but He doesn't give us the ability to know His will at all times for all purposes.

Even the greatest of Scripture's prophets had to wrestle with partial glimpses and meager explanations.

So why does God speak to us only in part? Doesn't He want us to know the fullness of His plan? Of course He does, but perhaps it's because the journey is designed to build faith, a vital key in our relationship with Him. Or maybe He knows that if we see the full picture, we'll try to accomplish it with our own limited wisdom and resources.

We don't have the perspective to oversee the whole plan, so God gives us only one piece at a time. We have to cling to Him and tune our ears to the sound of His voice moment by moment, otherwise, we risk serving our own ends in our own wisdom and developing a dangerous sense of independence.

So, get used to hints and whispers and brief glimpses of His purposes. We can hear His voice clearly and confidently, but never comprehensively. That's why we need the rest of the body of Christ; together we can discern God's will. He reserves the fullness of revelation for a day when we can look back and give Him glory for the beauty of all He has done.

So, let's all try to remember that partial pictures are frustrating, yet we know God doesn't offer more to any one person. Let's help each other to discern the parts we see and to trust in the parts He reveals to others. Thanks for listening, and we'll see you next time.

    LET'S PRAY...

Lord, partial pictures are so frustrating, yet I know You don’t offer more to any one person. Help me to discern the parts I see and to trust in the parts You reveal to others.

In conclusion, we hope that this message has encouraged you to be open to the unique ways in which God speaks to you and to share those insights with others in humility and love. • 23-032 AGAINST ALL HOPE

    TITLE: 23-032 AGAINST ALL HOPE

VERSE: Against all hope, Abraham in hope believed. ROMANS 4:18, NIV

Hey there Warriors! Welcome to today's podcast. Today, I want to talk about one of the key lessons we can learn in God's school of faith-building. It's the art of staring at seeming contradictions to what God has said, while still maintaining our hope in His promises.

Take Abraham for example, he was given a promise that he would be a father of nations, but he waited a quarter of a century for it to come to pass. God didn't tell him how or when, so Abraham tried to fill in the blanks for himself. But the promise got more specific over time, it would be fulfilled from Abraham's own body, not through an adopted servant, and through the body of his wife Sarah, not through her maid. And there was nothing for Abraham to do but wait.

When the time finally came, both he and Sarah laughed. The promise seemed long overdue. But God had spoken, and they had believed. So, even when circumstances seemed hopeless, Abraham trusted what God had said. And that's the posture we should have as well when we've heard God's voice. We may encounter enormous contradictions, but faith holds on and hopes. Sometimes we'll misunderstand, and our faith will need to be redirected. Sometimes we'll expect results in a certain time frame and we'll be disappointed. But one way or another, God will fulfill what He has spoken.

Our training isn't complete until we can stare contradictions in the face and still have peaceful hearts that hope against all hope. We might prefer that God would cultivate our faith by rewarding it immediately, like a dog trainer who rewards a good trick with a treat. But God doesn't work that way. He cultivates our faith by hiding Himself and encouraging us to seek Him. This now-you-see-Him-now-you-don't process can be frustrating, but it's essential to the building of our faith. And when we learn to hope against hope in what God has promised, our hope receives its rewards.

    LET'S PRAY...

Lord, fill us with hope, the kind that does not disappoint. Keep us rooted not just in what You've said but in who You are. Help us to trust Your heart no matter what we see.

In conclusion, we hope that this message has encouraged you to be open to the unique ways in which God speaks to you and to share those insights with others in humility and love. Remember, God speaks to us in many ways and it's important that we pay attention to the impressions of the Holy Spirit and act on them. • 23-031 ONENESS WITH GOD

    TITLE: 23-031 ONENESS WITH GOD

VERSE: [Jesus said,] “I have given them the glory you gave me, so they may be one as we are one. I am in them and you are in me. May they experience such perfect unity that the world will know that you sent me.” JOHN 17:22-23

Hey Warriors...are you ready for a powerful and beautiful truth? We have the opportunity to be one with God, to have His motives and desires become our own, to be united in mission and purpose, and to take on His character and attributes. And as we grow in this oneness with Him, we begin to hear His voice more clearly. He speaks to us through His Word, through prayer, and through the guidance of others.

But it's important to remember that this oneness with God is not something that we can achieve on our own. It is only through the work of the Holy Spirit that we are able to be united with God in this way. We must be open and willing to receive the work of the Spirit in our lives. We must be willing to let go of our own desires and motives and let God take control.

It's also important to remember that this oneness with God is not a one-time event, but a lifelong process. We will continue to grow in our relationship with Him as we allow Him to work within us. It will not always be easy, but it will be worth it.

    LET'S PRAY...

Jesus, fulfill this union in every way possible. Let me have Your heartbeat and breathe Your breath. And may Your voice flow through me and out of me constantly.

In conclusion, we hope that this message has encouraged you to be open to the unique ways in which God speaks to you and to share those insights with others in humility and love. • 23-030 OUR OWN SHORTCOMINGS

    TITLE: 23-030 OUR OWN SHORTCOMINGS

VERSE: It is God who works in you to will and to act in order to fulfill his good purpose. PHILIPPIANS 2:13, NIV

Hey Warriors, today we are going to discuss our role in our relationship with God. We often hear the phrase "all of Him and none of me," which emphasizes the humble attitude of recognizing our own shortcomings and relying on God's grace. However, it's important to remember that God doesn't leave us in a state of depravity. He has filled us with His Spirit and given us a new heart. He has transformed us, not replaced us.

We were created for a purpose - to partner with God, not to fade out of the picture. And Paul reminds us that it is God who works in us, both to will and to act, in order to fulfill His purposes. This means that there are many desires inside us that are from Him, and many actions we want to do that are exactly what He wants for us. He has implanted His will and His voice within us.

Of course, we also have other desires and voices within us at times; not everything we think or do is godly. But if we're growing in Christ and allowing Him to be the source of our life, we're moving in the direction of godliness, and God is rearranging our internal environment so that we become one with Him.

This is the context for hearing God's voice. There will be times when we don't know whether it's our own voice or His because our minds and hearts are being shaped by Him. It is God who is working within us to desire and to do His will. As long as we have any vestige of fallen nature, we can't make the truth absolute and say that it's only God at work within us. But neither can we downplay this truth. This is God's preferred method for speaking to us: being within us.

Warrior, it is important to remember that as Christians, we are not left in a state of depravity, God has transformed us and given us a new heart. He is working in us to fulfill his purposes, we have His will and His voice implanted in us, and it is through this that He speaks to us. It's important to be in tune with Him and allow Him to shape us and guide us.

    LET'S PRAY...

Lord, work powerfully within me to desire and to do Your will. Let Your thoughts and dreams become my thoughts and dreams.

In conclusion, we hope that this message has encouraged you to be open to the unique ways in which God speaks to you and to share those insights with others in humility and love. • 23-029 FROM THE HEART OF GOD

TITLE: 23-029 FROM THE HEART OF GOD

VERSE: I am the LORD your God, who rescued you from the land of Egypt, the place of your slavery. EXODUS 20:2

“Sometimes when I speak to you, I need to remind you of what I’ve done for you. This isn’t because I’m holding it over your head. I just want you to remember the relationship we have. If you remember where we have been together, you’ll be much better prepared to trust Me for where we are going together.

I want you to understand that I have created you, loved you, been patient with you, redeemed you from your captivity, listened to your prayers and answered them, provided for you, healed you, restored you, and so much more.

“Why do you need to remember these things? Because if you forget the context of our relationship, you will often hear Me through the wrong perceptions. When I give you instructions you don’t want to follow, you will feel as if I’m unfairly imposing My will on you. When I give you extravagant promises, you will question whether I’m going to carry them out.

When I correct you, you will take it personally and assume that I’m angry with you rather than lovingly drawing you into freedom. When I tell you that I love you or that I’m with you, you will take My words as empty encouragement, without realizing how emphatically I’ve proven them to you. Do you see why I come to you with a reminder of who I am? You need to know, because the way you perceive Me shapes everything you hear from Me.

“I want you to hear Me without distortions from your own insecurities and wounds. Listen carefully when I remind you of who I am and what I’ve done for you. Your hurts and struggles will fade into the background as you embrace My goodness toward you. Then I can speak words of love, instruction, encouragement, correction, and guidance that will transform your life.

    LET'S PRAY...

Lord, let me hear You with a pure and whole heart. Cut through my distorted perceptions to help me hear the truth in Your words. Let my heart be shaped by the history of our relationship.

In conclusion, we hope that this message has encouraged you to be open to the unique ways in which God speaks to you and to share those insights with others in humility and love. • 23-028 OUR TRANSFORMATION

    TITLE: 23-028 OUR TRANSFORMATION

VERSE: [The Lord said,] “I will give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit in you. I will take out your stony, stubborn heart and give you a tender, responsive heart. And I will put my Spirit in you so that you will follow my decrees and be careful to obey my regulations.” EZEKIEL 36:26-27

My fellow Warriors, today's message is about transformation. Just as a cat cannot become a dog, it is impossible for us to change our nature on our own. However, with the help of God's Spirit, we can be transformed from the inside out.

God promises to give us a new heart and a new spirit, to take out our stony, stubborn heart and give us a tender, responsive one. He promises to put His Spirit in us so that we will follow His decrees and obey His regulations. This is what it means to partake of the "divine nature" (2 Peter 1:4).

This transformation also applies to hearing God's voice. We often look to Him for information, when really He is transforming our inner nature so that the direction and motivation we seek comes out of who we are deep inside. He is after a deep, inward relationship, not just a conversation about facts...He is not Google. And as He transforms us, we find more and more that His voice comes from within us, because that’s where He resides.

    LET'S PRAY...

Lord, I want to hear Your heart and share Your heartbeat. I want to carry Your voice within me, not just hear words. Please plant Your will deep within me.

In conclusion, we hope that this message has encouraged you to be open to the unique ways in which God speaks to you and to share those insights with others in humility and love. Remember, God speaks to us in many ways and it's important that we pay attention to the impressions of the Holy Spirit and act on them. TITLE: 23-027 A SPIRIT-FILLED NUDGE

VERSE: O LORD, you have examined my heart and know everything about me. PSALM 139:1

Warriors...today we are going to talk about how we hear from God and how to speak His encouragement into other people's lives.

There is no one single way that God speaks to us, but one way is through the impressions of the Holy Spirit. Like the woman in our story, who saw a man in the back row and heard something in her spirit, “Caleb”. She knew that this was a word from God, a timely illustration of something going on in this man’s life. She shared this with him, and it encouraged and strengthened him to pursue what he had been hearing from God.

It is important to remember that we should share what we are sensing from God in humility and in a way that doesn’t try to dictate God’s will. If our insight does not apply to someone's life, no harm is done, but if it does, it can be a great encouragement to them.

Don’t be afraid to share what you are sensing from God. Let your Spirit-inspired insights encourage and strengthen others. This is how He often speaks to His body.

    LET'S PRAY...

Holy Spirit, give me insights that build up Your people and give me the courage and humility to share them well. Use me to speak Your words and to represent Your heart.

In conclusion, we hope that this message has encouraged you to be open to the unique ways in which God speaks to you and to share those insights with others in humility and love. Remember, God speaks to us in many ways and it's important that we pay attention to the impressions of the Holy Spirit and act on them. Join us next time as we continue to explore the many ways in which God guides us on our journey of faith. Thank you for tuning in to today's episode of "THE POWER OF GODS WHISPER"
